  1. At about 130 is high. I think it's about there that it starts to break down.
  2. Bigger intercooler = more restriction = less cool air for radiator = higher engine temps. Don't go getting one of those drag intercoolers. WAY too big for the application. Basically with a bigger radiator, it can exhange heat quicker, resulting in a cooler engine. As oil goes through the engine, the oil doesn't heat up as much.... well, that's my thinking.
  3. Drivers side fender. Where the BOV is located.
  4. fat o gram
  5. Get a bigger radiator too. Oil cooler is not enough to stop temps from soaring.
  6. I think UAS or Just Jap sell them for $90.
  7. For road use I like Bendix ultimates.
  8. I'm running RB74 with DBA4000 and I love my brakes.
  9. I'm running a PWR rad. and it's the best thing since sliced bread.... almost.
  10. Actually AJ is going to be racing some Master's series next year. I think it's a bunch of old ex-f1 fellas banging wheels. Davidson would be an interesting match with Webber.
  11. Mika will NOT be at Williams for 05. http://f1.racing-live.com/en/headlines/new...106170345.shtml He's following Alesi and doing DTM.
  12. The people on the streets. http://www.smh.com.au/news/National/Expose...9547388770.html
  13. Reading an artical in SMH about police pursuits and it got me wondering. Why are the police officers being ass pounded? Yeah I can see that if police don't pursue the w@nkers (sorry but they are!) then innocent lives wouldn't have been killed, but then again, who's to say that they would slowed down if the police weren't pursing them? And why blame the police when the cause of the problem is the person is doing the runner from the police in the first place?
  14. Your bored cause your not driving it to it's full potential. 1. Driver training. 2. Track day. One track day and it'll live with you forever.
  15. Jordan said they will call it quits for a season cause Cosworth are going down the hole. He said they would be back for 06 if possible, but unlikely. But now Toyota said they would be keen on supplying engines to another team on the grid, and Jordan are linked to this rumor.
  16. It's that time of the year again and lets look at what we have. Ferrai, BAR, Mclaren, Renault, Sauber and Toyota have pretty much secured their racing drivers for 05. The million dollar question. Who will partner mark Webber for 05? IMO, not jungle boy Pizzonia. In race conditions he could not match Webber, and not even touch Montoya. I bet Frank was pulling whatever hair he had left for Ralf to come back. Patrick Head went on record saying he wants a driver capable of winning the F1 crown. Other front runners are DC and old Mika Hakkinen. Pace your bets for the remaining drives at Williams, Jordan, Minardi, and possibly whoever buys out Jaguar.
  17. Was that Brocky in the Wilkie?
  18. Rear wheel has to be bigger in diameter than front. Try switching front and rear wheels around.
  19. Lap time was broken. But that is pretty much expected cause of new tyre technology, not just engine alone. That record in reference is the time for race distance. There are so much variables that can affect this, like weather, how many times pace car comes out, etc...
  20. I'm assuming your speeding on a freeway (110km/h limit) but you can write a letter to the... I think it's called the infringement notices something???? but they look after all traffic offences. Just explain to them the situation and that you've had a good driving record and they may be able to reduce, or even cancel the fine.
  21. I had a head on smash in my WRX a few years ago because some smart girl decided to exit from the wrong side of the freeway. Apparently she didn't want to pay for the toll (TIGHT ASS!). And of all the people in the world that could've run into her, it had to be me (there was a Honda accord next to me, why not him?????) Oh well, I don't think it's my bad luck. It was the car's bad luck cause I've been in a few bad prangs with it. Since selling it and getting the line, no crashes to date.
  22. I use to study legal studies i school and I learned "The law is applied equally to all" Now I've added my own extension to that, "unless your in a position of power". I would like to hear what he has to say to the next drink driver he comes across in court.
  23. It takes common sense from both pedestrians and drivers. Every now and then you have to walk from here to there so in a sense, everyone is a pedestrian. Limiting a cars speed to 130km/h does jack sh*t. That still means you can achieve 130km/h on a 60km/h road. It comes down the the driver's attitude. Besides, it will create a market for speed limiter removers (HKS style interceptors). As Brocky says, "education, not legislation."
