  1. Man! You guys are always having these dinners on the days which I have to work nights. What rotten luck! :pissed:
  2. WRX are quick in the hands of any driver. Having own one before, they're very forgiving if you make a mistake. Boring if you ask me cause it understeers. GTR however, will punish you for mistreating it. Drive it right and it's more fun. You never will know about depreciation. It could drop below those marks. If you want, you can have mine for $25k. 1993 R32 GTR.
  3. You can have mine for $25k. 93 model.
  4. Yeah those group B cars were absolute bonkers! It's amazing how any man could survive just driving them.
  5. If the chassis is bent minor (repairable) then they'll just repair it. It's really the insurance company's decision if it's a write off or not.
  6. See for yourself Teenage drivers suspended after speeding October 17, 2004 - 4:56PM Two teenage drivers have had their licences suspended in separate incidents after allegedly reaching speeds of more than 120kph in suburban Sydney. A 19-year-old P-plater is due to face court after allegedly being clocked driving at more than 70kph over the speed limit. A motorcyclist, also 19, led police on a pursuit reaching speeds of up to 120kph through western Sydney. The P-plater, from Banksia, was caught speeding twice in 12 hours by officers in Sydney's south, police said today. About 12.30pm (AEST) yesterday, the teenager was stopped in Hurstville after he was clocked at 123kph in a 50kph zone, police allege. He was issued with a court attendance notice for driving in a manner reckless and dangerous to the public, and his licence automatically suspended. At 12.30am (AEST) today, he was stopped by police in Rockdale after allegedly being detected travelling above the 50kph speed limit, although police did not reveal by how much. He was taken to St George police station and charged with driving while suspended and not complying with the conditions of his licence. The teenager was granted bail to appear before Sutherland Local Court on November 10. A second 19-year-old was issued with five infringement notices and had his licence suspended after a high-speed pursuit through Sydney's west. Police allege the Bonnyrigg man had reached speeds of up to 120kph. He was caught during an operation targeting defective motor vehicles and anti-social behaviour in the Leichhardt CBD overnight. Operation Compliance began at 7pm (AEST) yesterday and continued to 4am (AEST) today. A total of 84 infringements were issued and six charges laid during the operation. AAP Tools in my books. There is no justification of 70km/h over the posted speed limits.
  7. A man with good taste! I'm also a sucker for a porker! When I was in the states I would drool over a Corvette. But I almost orgasamed over Vipers. That V10 sound just has to be heard to believe!
  8. Warm and fuzzy feeling story of the day. Thanks for the smile and congrats!
  9. 04 champion with an inferior bike. Goes to show you his brilliance. Pure racing animal that man is!
  10. If your sick of problems then get a later model car. In this case the bimmer. But don't expect performance.
  11. Jimmy, Jimmy! We Love you Jimmy!
  12. Take a RX8, slap in a GT30 ball bearing turbo with some other performance goddies and we have the RX-8 Motorsport Concept and it's brought to you buy the guys who also brought you the MX5 SP, RX7 SP1 and 2, SP20's.... Mazda Australia Motorsport. This is more a worthy replacement for the old RX7! Not the crap standard RX8.
  13. About $1000. Standard is about 22mm thickness. PWR one is about 33 or 38mm, can't remember. But they have a 50mm one but that requires the stock fan removed and fitted with electric fans.
  14. Where did u get your custom radiator made at? I brought a PWR one and it's lasted countless trackdays and still going strong.
  15. Whatever your smoking, please share with me.
  16. Be on the look out for me in a green 99' CRV. Plates LEE-81L
  17. I think that's what I like about over there. Something is ALWAYS open. Denny's, IHOP just to name two. It's better than just kebabs and i your lucky, maccas. But just to pick a bone, at Wendy's. I had something called "Chilli's". Here I am expecting this thing to be all chilli/hot/spicy, and there's absolutely NOTHING when I stuck it in my mouth. "HELLO! ANY DAY NOW!". It's just mince beef and tomato, etc.. mix. Taste good but no chilli. I was disappointed with that.
  18. Why is it that we can find money to change the exhaust, bigger intercooler, flashy bodykit, eye catching paint job, ear deafening sound system, bigger turbo/injectors, pod lifters, 19 inch chrome wheels, etc... but trackdays are so expensive? Hell, I don't think the 1/4 mile strip is more than a trackday now. If you think trackdays are expensive then isn't a speeding fine more expensive? Plus court fines, hiring a lawyer, etc...
  19. Hello from Sydney now. I was in cali when I posted. But I've been to Florida, Chicago and also Wisconsin. When I tell people I have a gtr they worship your every word. Strange cause I think it's just a car..... like any other... It was an interesting trip I . I tried all this american food and it's a good change from all the regular. Eg, who had steak and eggs on the same plate? Crousant, sausage, egg and cheese in one... getting strange now.... but I notice that they called what we deem "chilli" as "pepper". Wendy's is a restraunt, not just an ice cream shop. But yeah, still have to explore the place a little bit more in future.
  20. :wavey: That's why I've been MIA from this place. Will be back soon though. It's wrong not to see a Skyline here. They have these cars, Impala or something like that, rear lights look like the R34. Copy cat crap!
  21. DSL 302G $60 and it's yours. Prefer buyer in Sydney. PM me or call 0423393344
  22. By the sounds of it, DC or JV may get Button's drive. But JV is also in negotiations with Sauber. I's like DC to go to BAR. JV bad mouths too much and from a team perspective you don't need a bad apple in the team. The Button issue also hasn't been resolved yet. Still in the legal process.
  23. 10th to 1st. What a legend! Luckiest man of the race = DC. You thought the race was all over red rover for him when the rear tyre blew, and again when he clipped the rear of Klien. Pace car comes out and he gets to go to the back and manages to slavage a few points.
  24. Yeah, cause Raikkonen had to contend with more rain. Money is on Schuey though. Hard to beat him in the wet. I wish something happens and a Mac goes in for a win. I want to see Ron Dennis win that bet and the jounalist streak.
