  1. The model I test drive was the 5 speed semi-auto TDi. It was simply too slow. The TDi and the GTi probably have different boxes. I also test drove the Mazda 6 and the Honda Euro and their boxes are much quicker. Thus I ordered the Euro.
  2. Is this fatz attempt at australian princess???
  3. Easily the S2000. Snap, snap, snap and away you go. Nice and short throw. The R32 GTR was pretty alright too but throw is not as nice as the S2000. MX5 was also pretty good (6 speed box). My old 94 WRX was too notchy, didn't like it much. But the worst has to be the new VW Golf DSG sequential box. Takes about a second/second and a half to change gears once you hit the paddle.
  4. Sweet shots dude!
  5. Oh great stuff Mr-Toy33! If you want to shoot your car moving, shot at lower shutter speeds to give it the sense of motion (esp. motosport photography).
  6. My old man has a film SLR too, an EOS also. Not sure what it is. I'd like to one day get into film also and learn about producing films in darkrooms, etc... Digital is kinda too easy because you can take a billion shots and not worry if they're good because you can delete them. Film would make you more selective. I was so envious of the guys with white lenses. 400mm plus... I should've rolled them.
  7. DOH! Sorry, my bad. Brain's just not functioning lately. I had a few C130 pics but they didn't turn out good. I shoot with a digital SLR and had a long lens, atleast I thought it was until that day.
  8. Does it happen when the cars been driven for a while? My old GTR had the same issue and it turned out to be a crap AFM.

    Great work by my mechanic...
  12. Ok, story goes like this. My mechanic had to drill one of the studs of my rear right wheen because it was stuck so hard. Fine, he did that. But coming home from nightshift, last thing I needed was to find out that my brakes are screwed! Pedel travel was much futher each time I stepped on it and pedal was losing all feel. I somehow managed to get home and find the cause. The rear right brake hose has a hole in it. And the hole is not from stress neither. Someone obviously had to have cut it. Thanks so much for telling me too! So the car is stranded at home and there is no way I'm pulling out the drive way with faulty brakes. I need someone to come replace the line and flush the fluid too. I'll deal with my FORMER mechanic later (I pray to God to find forgiveness and that I don't deal with it with a baseball bat). Anyone recommended? Southwest Sydney area. Thanks!

  14. Yep go for it! If people could be patient with the pics. They're coming but thanks to unwired's SNAILband internet, it's awaiting uploading.
  15. PM me the file name of the pics you want and I'll get back to you.
  16. OK! It's finally all done! Phew! 153 images and everybody's there. Thanks for putting on the show and I hope you enjoy them. http://www.pbase.com/silver_arrowz/ec_sau_renew
  17. OK, just a teaser for now.
  18. Yeah that's me. I got lots but need a bit of time to process them. I thought it would be done by last night but hopefully by tonight or tomorrow.
  19. The seca? I got it.
  20. Great show people! I got so much practice doing panning shots I'm getting better at it now. I got pics and I'll be spending the night processing them. Hopefully they'll be up by the morning. I've got pics of the poor RX7 going up in a ball of fire. I'm not sure if I should post it up out of respect for the owner. If anyone could ask him if he doesn't mind that would be great. He can take consolation that the alarm was still working when the fire fighters tried to pop the bonnet.
