WOW! Some of you guys have amazing shots! I captured these over the weekend at the snowy's. Stupid me I didn't realise that some drops of snow had landed on my lens, thus the dark spots. Yeah I had it done on my toymotor. Results were amazing. I installed it myself at first and it was very weird. Spring pre-loadings were also tampered with before I opened the box so that certainly didn't help. Afterwards the car was much more composed.

It was a pretty poorly kept secret that Mika was the favoured drive at Mclaren. Newly spent more time in Mika's garage on race days. Ron and Mika were bum chums. Put personally I feel that DC peaked at Williams and his first year at Williams. After that he kinda dropped of pace. Back when Senna and Prost were team-mates, even the Honda engineers favoured Senna. I read an interview with Prost years later and he said that he had some quiet words with the head of Honda motorsport at the time and they openly admitted that Senna was seen as a "son" because Honda saw him as a natural talent. Honda engineers didn't particularly like Prost's telling them what to do. Hence the year later Prost left Mclaren.

Williams have just announced Nico and Alex as the driver line up for 2007. Looks like Webber's out of Williams. Webber at Mclaren will make my day. Makes it easier to cheer on one car instead of two. But that's just a dream.

I don't think Ron would spend whatever $ to keep Kimi. Ron did that with Ayrton Senna and it sent the team to the back of the grid for a few years.

Monty's hey day's come and gone. He was at his prime in his first year in F1. After that he slid and against Kimi at Mclaren, I reckon his confidence took a beating. Sad to see him go but as long as the seat is covered by someone who can give Alonso a good run for his money, all is good.
