  1. SAU = CAMS approved club ^_^
  2. My guild is in a stage of rebuilding but we managed to get rag down to 40%. On another note ZG's been nerfed hard! My guild couldn't bring down High Priestess Mar'li before but after the patch it only took 2 shots. And Bloodlord Mandokir use to take atleast 8 goes, but we killed him on the second run. That's with a lot of noobs also. We've only started MC run but last week the guys got Rag down to about 40% on first run. I'm proud of the guys considering many don't have FR gear. Now if they'd only get off their lazy asses and get some FR gear! lol.
  3. M3 for me! I'm an old skool fan of the E36. Looks, who cares. It handles great from memory and that 6 cylinder is a awesome. Elise would come in 2nd.
  4. Whoa! People actually take Charades and Excels out there??? I know fatz did it once but that was just fatz clowning around.
  5. I'll take annual leave just for this! EC is the better option but to many slow cars (ie. N/A MR2's) out there is a problem. Wakefield is a good option as SAU could hire out the track as a private function but the distance could be a deterant for some members.
  6. First thing though. As motoconcepts have closed, where can we go now?
  7. How about the son of Godzilla???
  8. If your worried about the maintence on a GTR already, then stick with the GTST.
  9. Saw a documentry on ABC about male geisha's. Might want to look into that. LOL!
  10. I doubt you'll go to jail, but you might get extension on that suspension. Learn and live mate. Don't drive until the suspension is over. Get rid of the temptation, give the keys to your parents and get them to hide it or something.
  11. Sorry but I'm one of those people with a one TRACK mind. lol!
  12. How about we all meet up where we all feel at home... a race track? Thrills, spills and followed by something else we're familiar with, the pub. Gee... this idea's like dejavu...
  13. It's not looking good for maccas. And this is probably the last year Kimi will stay with them. However Williams is looking promising. Old Frankie managed to get a few sponsors onboard so lets hope he sticks it up to BMW.
  14. For any sports action photography you'll need a fast lens with long zoom. Playing with my Sigma I think it'll do the job pretty well but waiting for a good event to take advantage of it. If I was cashed up I'd get the Canon 70-200mm f2.8 IS USM but that lens is just two words... CHING CHING!
  15. Yeah where am I? I'm I that quickly forgotten because I gave up my Nissan badge?
  16. Weekend away where?
  17. Hmm... I feel like a rush road trip all of a sudden.
  18. I think SAU no longer tolerates VS threads.
  19. I should be coming in my toymotor.
  20. Yeah I'd also prefer to have a few cards instead of one big one. If your planing on doing fast photography (eg, motorsport) make sure you get a fast memory card too. simplelogik, I conducted the tests in the same manner as you and had the same results. I also noticed that it had rather poor AF in low light situations. And I found out that other owners had the same problem. When I got more time I'll conduct the same test with more light. In the mean time I took the camera out and took some happy snaps. The pelican pics turned out alright. But the other pics I took, I was stupid and forgot to change the ISO. So the other pics do have a bit of graining because of the ISO400 setting. It's the first 4 pics in my SAU gallery and the EXIF details are in the comments box. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/photopost.../500/ppuser/183
  21. I have to work Australia day so if I'm bored I'll post up pics of an office area.... j/k! Please share your pics. I'd like to see them.
