  1. Sell the car. It's not worth the headaches. Cut your losses and pay off what's remaining. Better than having the car repo'd and a bad history. There's plenty of time for cars later in life and also plenty of track days to go along with it. Race track isn't going to close tomorrow. Not having a skylines doesn't mean instant death. You may suffer withdrawl symptoms but you'll live. Trust me... I know.
  2. Nothing. Because SAU people have no love for old skool boring cardigan wearing-euro driving saps.
  3. I agree too. But unfortunetly the body doesn't.
  4. Oh dear... I won't be able to make it. It's between my nightshifts and I need sleep. Sorry guys.
  5. I'd like A renualt Clio V6. Strap a V6 into the rear seat of a regular clio and propel the power through the rear wheels. WEEEEE!!!!!
  6. Crash-umo Sato baby! Should've gotten the Super Aguri stuff while I was at the GP this year. Good to see some of the customer cars doing well. Toyota and Honda with all that money and still no result. Shows money can't buy a win in F1.
  7. Pic taken at 1/60 and f14 @ISO200
  8. I use a program called noise ninja as part of my post-process and it rocks socks! I'm not afraid to shoot at ISO3200 because noise ninja does a pretty good job of removing noise/graining. Still having said that, having a good source picture to start of with is still much better. Oh, make sure you calabrate your monitors also.
  9. Put your camera on shutter mode and keep the shutter speed low. Set the camera to continual auto focus. Also handy to keep the camera on multiple burst shot mode. Use a monopod if you've got one, if not just practice freehand and get use to the idea of panning and tracking the subject. Not every photo will be a keeper, you'll have plenty of blurred out shots so make sure you've got plenty of momory and try to shoot in jpeg mode so you can get more shots in as RAW files will msx out the camera buffer memory quick. The shutter speed has to be low to get that blurred out background effect. A fast shutter speed will make the car look like it's standing still. Last Friday I was shooting my mates car at Wakefield and I was using speeds between 1/60 to 1/100 and the blurred out background turned out pretty well compared to my older pics (I used 1/200-300). I'll post up some pics tomorrow as an example.
  10. I'm playing Medieval 2 at the moment. I'm playing the poms and I've conqured the french and have declared war on the byzintines. I've learned that I would not make a good ruler. When I'm happy I'm happy. But if you wage war on me I'll run you to the ground and show no mercy even if you plead for peace.
  11. Thats right folks! I'm judging. Any Hon-Duh!, "Vtek just kicked in YO!" or Toymotor jokes and your -100 points in my books.
  12. Perform indian rain dance. Unsecured items remove from the car. Spare wheel also comes out. Tyre pressure checked.
  13. KABOOM! Up the butt! WHOA! Has it been that long now?
  14. Might come out to play with my camera again.
  15. Ah Ronnie Peterson.... I remember someone once said (might be wrong) he couldn't tell the difference between oversteer and understeer. Still didn't stop him from being quick though... Hahaha! Yeah I can see what Hamilton did to Massa... twice! there was just no way Massa was going to make the corner without bleeding speed much earlier from where his car was positioned. Good thinking from Hamilton.
  16. Yeah I'm heading down this year.
  17. Might know some people who will be interested.
  18. The genius who lifted up the car... bend over and use some KB jelly. It's gonna hurt.
  19. 5FSE = 101kw engine More displacement (2.2) but less power than a 3SGE and not a Toyota G-series engine. The G series engine love to rev out. The 5SFE is an ordinary cardigan wearing guy engine.
  20. Why do the yanks go for a V6 conversion? Well it's a heaps better option than the standard 5FSE Camry engine they got in their MR2's.
  21. Erect (hehehehe) one in your car and we can go cruising at brighton habib. Chick magnet alright.
  22. Save the extra money for what you really want later. Be on your best behaviour and a few years on, you won't have too much issues with insurance companies.
  23. I remember seeing something like this on a BTCC car a few years back. The calipers were opposite each other though. Don't see this setup much anymore so I guess single caliper setup was much more effective.
