Ive got the Slide turbo, gave him 2x dead turbos (1xrb20 and 1xrb25) and ~$500 and got a max-ported rb25 highflow in return Rear wheel looks similar if not same to the Hypergear unit mentioned, the front porting was fair extreme tho Oil and Water cooled, mine hasnt missed a beat in 2yrs of use; getting tuned with Tomei camshafts and other goodies right ATM (head porting and assembly work finished today) expecting a nice lazy (figure of speech as lag is stock-like) 230kwish for the next few yrs. Should get 5yrs / 50,000kms out of it. If the Hypergear highflow is anything like the Slide batch-1 highflows then the customer will NOT be disappointed. Huge value for money at $800. Would like to see some end dyno results with modified RB25's with the Hypergear, could use one in a few years time myself.

hmm, ok - always liked the shape of the R33 Skyline, ever since it was complied in Australia, before that tho I loved the 2+2 300zx auto twinturbo felt it'd be a top car to own but after years of research and lust the R33 overtook the 300zx as the car I wanted. sat in a 300zx and couldnt get behind the steering wheel due to my long legs, thought uhoh: next sat in a few R33's hoping theyd be better (4doors, 2doors, sunroof, etc) but alas to no avail, too tight a fit impossible to fit with the manual, and as the knees had been chopped a few times manual was out of the equation anyway read a lot more about the Skyline, realy wanted one but found the Stagea.... researched more and more let prices drop and drop and drop while I enjoyed the VR V8 and my bikes. sold the 1st house due to the expanding family and overborrowed 15g's to finally grab a RB25det. Was wagon time for the 2 kids, thats my excuse anyway After scouring Australia wide for a year looking for my Stagea, then found her; cheapest in aussiland at the time by 2grand at 18k, with Dayz kit and dual sunroof, stockies were 20k plus flew up to Qld, sat in the Stag to make sure I could fit - couldnt really - handed over the chq and put the bus on the back of a truck, flew home 3hrs later Stagea arrived a week later, filled her up after the turbo timer finally turned off (ripped it out that week) and sold the VR with only 118000kms on the ex cop V8 sedan, a good car TBH. stuck with the stag fairly stock for a while, umm like 1month LOL, and started my mods after a year I had the seat rail extended by pete (66_skyline_gt) and gave him my stock turbo for his effort as Id just had the highflow fitted when I bought the VR V8 I said Id own for 5yrs and I did, when I bought the Stagea I said Id own for 10yrs. 4yrs now, and another 10 coming !!!!! So while the Stagea was a compromise on the R33 due to my size, knees and family, I am over the moon about owning THIS car. She is a sweety. hence why Im treating her to some engine internals atm, 'cause I love her so and she deserves only the best. edit: now is 18K car plus 18K mods . oops

seems similar to the Sliding Performance 360degree journal bearing oil & water cooled RB25 highflow they were ~$800 with a years warranty, rear wheel looks very similar too. front housing seems to be ported out more on the Slide unit tho if anything like the Slide turbo should be good for around 250kws, minimal lag once tuned correctly, decent cost-effective turbo

Dunno... I used the Whiteline kit, front adjustable castor bushes and rear subframe alignment kit along with front/rear swaybars and Bilstein shocks on stock springs. Been perfect for 3yrs like this.

The Apexi "Hybrid" fmic for 180sx/rb20 is a return air feed and is half bar*plate and half tube*fin quite a unique fmic, and good for up to 250kw Id suggest ebay japan edit: pic is the 1st go at it, now use 4ply thermalflex, better routing of pipes with lipped edge so no blow-offs, ever. my tuner fixed it all up N.C. woot
