  1. same, 1st time it ran fine but no boost so crept her home to fix the I/C leak, next time it happened it was worse (up a hill with load, lol) afte that I lipped the i/c pipes and used v.good bolt-clamps / 4ply joiners and now the pipes will never leak go over all the pipes before hitting up the mechanic.
  2. grow up FFS using tape in a 400degree engine (800 at exhaust) is plain STUPID, it wont last using hi temp industrial strength silicone (selley's 401, $13 a tube) all around the coil packs helps stop wasted spark, but if one is shagged obviously wont help fyi: the silicone covered ones worked perfect; I upgraded to splitfires to run 1bar day long with no issues, didnt want tune issues on the dyno.
  3. if you want a stagea, I can help for a kiss and a fiddy
  4. NO! do it properly if you go this way, DO NOT use tape. Use hi-temp 400degree+ industrial strength silicone sealant ($12 + $3 corking gun) from bunnings. apply the silicone all around the coils. MUCH better than tape. works as well, mine were good after this!
  5. aftermarket air:fuel and timing time !!!!
  6. 200kw out of my auto with the toshi remap at the moment expecting 230kw with poncams, head work in a few weeks time (adjust via piggybacks)
  7. nice sell the skyline and grab a rs260 stagea
  8. they shouldnt come off - use the same ones, fine at 1bar and over stag emblem
  9. nice job! good choice of hose clamps too.
  10. thanks dohmar, you make very good points yourself everyones' opinion is worthwhile. as pete said from his dad - and in this case its so true - learn from others mistakes; cause by f**k its better (as horrible as that is) than you making that very mistake still, ive rode for so many years at such high speeds, thru the hills not metro, never, and Ive done wrong but thankfully Ive never endangered anyone else (IMO only) during this time got nothing against having a go with your vehcile - BUT there is a time/place for everything, and every choice has its consequence. just take some risks away from what you're doing.....
  11. Im not religeous, BUT my life is guided by "do unto others as you would have them do to you" and I follow the 10 commandments but I dont believe in gods
  12. yeah, reading this and what happened to me / deontae last night - really hits home for me just got to be that 5% more careful in metro area never had accident, and am so careful, but really we all need to be on the ball. 100% concentration
  13. whats so sad here is that the deceased had his life xroad path in front of him when he decided to get in that seat, not at the accident scene. so far back in time (when got in car), so innocent as far as his choice to do so instead of not getting in car, but getting in that seat, saying whatever ie "nice corner" 5minutes before or something, each minute there are life xroad choices............., such a simple and innocent personal choice (to get in car) ended his life. see it in your eyes, learn a lesson. just be so careful, we wield the power of life and death over other people. make your choices wisely
  14. yeah bunny, steve is religious, church goer etc and I look up to him (yes you madaz!) for that, although its not my belief 200% I know steve would have said his prayers for the deceased. rip, and I hope many many ppl can learn from this. ++++++ now, big one. will effect my mind at night for a long long time last night I picked up my 2.5yr old Deontae from child care, on walk home he ran across the road when I said "after this car" and he was mm from being killed 1m in front of me so so scary. speeding car, not holding hands for a moment (oh god never again, I cant forgive myself for what happened yesterday), standing partially behind a parked car so child coulnt be seen by van driver, he bolted as soon as I said "after......" and I couldnt do anything. so helpless with no knees, just could not move fast enough 1m to my front/left to grab him - no stability to move quickly. van saw him and swerved (no brake lights) very minimally, then realized what happened. came back and abused me angrily, tarago full of family/kids, they were off their tap, understandably. all I said was Im sorry about 5x. if she didnt move the steering wheel to the right by 5mm, it would have been death - I saw it in a flash, deontae flung 30m to the sidewalk, almost dead life and death. I see preminitions, life choices like dejavu where there are 2 choices right there and then, and 2 outcomes, both that massively effect your life path. Ive had these visions since childhood, and see things what can happen and then what does happen, all in a split second. I saw what almost happened to my child. It was horrible, seeing for 0.1sec him hit and in the air for 30m, then the .1sec of life/death after being hit, then the actual event the next .2sec where the van sped past and missed by half a foot. wow to the van driver, Im sorry, but I thank god you were attentive enough to make an adjustment to your steering. everyone , slow down in metro area where kids could be.

  20. he's your man +1 from me
  21. a chipped ecu from japland tuned for x x x mods would be ok, but youd still want a safc at the least to make sure fueling is spot on a haltech interceptor (safc / sitc + more in one) might be a better option on your stock ecu or talk to Toshi about redoing your ecu chip (I did that !!! so happy, and with safc/sitc can get a top tune) so many options these days, cheapest is safc only then ebay ecu + safc or ebay ecu + haltech interceptor or Toshi remap (fine if he's there, mine was long distance tune so still need the safc/sitc for minor adjustments)
  22. stock injectors = ~228rwkw an adjustable FPR and tuneable ecu will give you slight headroom in injector duty (ie not running at 98%) just drive the 20km off boost and you'll be right
