thanks for the Link, Ive had a chat and got a quote. Ive been quoted around $1200 to $1500 depending on how far I want to go with the porting job, from Lewis Engines in Mt Barker Sth Aus. parts have cost me exaclty $3000 AUS, from Sliding Performance (best dealer on SAU, thanks guys), and Erics Performance Parts (USA Ebay, when the u$a-au$ dollar rate was almost equal) so all up its a $4500 job, plus the retune and basic service stuff. looking for big torque thru the auto and around an easy 230kw have bought, and have got on hand, although I might swap the 1.2 x 87mm head gasket for 1.5 x 86mm, not sure. for stock bottom end what should I use, 86 or 87mm? who else is good for head work in Adelaide? just wondering Cometic intake manifold gasket Cometic intake collector gasket Cometic exhaust gasket Cometic Head gasket 1.2mm x 87mm ARP head stud kit EPP 6mm viton Intake valve seals EPP 6mm viton Exhaust valve seals EPP Intake valve seats EPP Exhaust valve seats EPP Intake valve guides EPP Exhaust valve guides Q45 90mm throttle body Greddy Q45-RB25 adapter kit EPP clear cam gear timing belt cover Tomei oil gallery restrictor orifice Tomei hi-lift valve springs ~8.8mm Tomei 256/256 pon cam shaft set 2x 700cc Sard injector external intake manifold setup thats some list for 3thou, I reckon. almost got venolia pistons and rods for $300 lol, but decided not to bid/buy at the last minute. lol. what coulda been ........ heheheh wont do bottem end at this stage, top first. maybe pistons and rings in a few yrs time.

Hi-flowed Turbo What To Look For ?
Tangles replied to loymclure's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
an rb20 HI-FLOW turbo is perfectly suited for the awd auto stagea sydneykid runs one on his awesome responsiveness from low rpm boost got photos? 1mm shaft play is as it should be big rear steel wheel? front housing and rear housing bored out? give us a look-see -
as said make sure the exhaust is complete (turbo to muffler tip) and high flowing grab a good high flowing panel air filter look for a good ebc to bring on boost quicker, and to up it to .8bar, and there is the 200rwkw easy look for a power-fc, a set of z32 afm's, set of drop-in injectors, and she's good for 250rwkw plus1

How Fast Is Your Stagea (really)?
Tangles replied to KiwiRS4T's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
my particular Stagea did low 15sec pass 3yrs ago (previous owner in qld) with just catback, pod and boost-T done a lot of work since then, unlimited speedo even lol should be 5.9 for 100m or there abouts, and 13.7-14.0 for 400m give or take edit: plus Ive just collected all the Head work stuff (tomei poncams & lifters, 90mm throttle body, head internals), so should be good in half a yrs time -
cheers, Ive been looking into indepedant fuel injector controllers will keep on looking into it, get all my info and gear sorted, then hit up the tuners for the head (then see the flow specialist) then back for the head reinstall and tune of everything
-
showing how NUB I really am - how will the tuners set up control for external injectors? whats needed to run them, thru a remapped ecu + safc + sitc + adj.FPR ? Is there a brand name extra injector electronic module available from japan (old-skool, ie ebay/yahoo) that can be bought, installed and setup? this is the stuff Ive got ready to go: Cometic intake manifold gasket Cometic intake collector gasket Cometic exhaust gasket Cometic Head gasket 1.2mm x 87mm ARP head stud kit EPP 6mm Intake valve seals EPP 6mm Exhaust valve seals EPP Intake valve seats EPP Exhaust valve seats EPP Intake valve guides EPP Exhaust valve guides Q45 90mm throttle body Greddy Q45-RB25 adapter kit EPP clear cam gear timing belt cover Tomei oil gallery restrictor orifice Tomei hi-lift valve springs ~8.8mm Tomei 256/256 pon cam shaft set 2x 700cc Sard injector external intake manifold setup
-
nps Nismoid. cheers for the info on 250~ for fpr adjustments havent done it as yet, just gathering info and parts etc at the moment
-
got the adjustable Nismo fpr, had that for a few years now, and it gets adjusted with the tunes mainly looking at this as a way to reach max efficiency for the hiflow turbo (ie 245rwkw), with the head work etc the Stagea should be pretty awesome can make up a metal box to cover the intake injectors to make it look stock
-
im thinking of dropping in an extra injector (2 actually) thru the stock intake piping found a used kit in japan includes 2x 700cc sard injectors on the stock rb25det intake pipe would it be better to flog these 2 injectors off and use 2 stock 5b25det injectors (2 + 6 stock) ? reason I bring this up, doing some head work last thing to get is the tomei poncams - pretty much a full hiflow rebuilt head with gaskets etc, but stock stnd bottom end. with the poncams and the headwork Id dare say the stock 6 injectors would be at the 228kw full load mark - hence an extra bit of fuel. hopeully 2 extra injectors (stock size or the 700cc sards) would allow enough fuel to use the poncams properly using a remapped ecu chip from Toshi (long distance tune) + safc/sitc + adj.fpr/adj.camgear&poncams + z32afm/full intake-exhaust-cooling mods etc etc, with the kit Id expect my engine would therefore be tuneable to a point past the 100% load useage mark for 6x stock injectors, instead of being set for a max of say 220rwkw and thats that (without muckn around with new ecu remap chips + bigger injectors), perhaps 240rwkw is possible? thoughts? head work includes tomei lifter kit, tomei poncams and oil restrictor gallery, infinity 90mm throttle body with greddy adapter plate, rb25 cometic head / exhaust / intake / collector & manifold gaskets, clear timing belt cover, epp valve seals, valve guides & seats for exhaust/intake, head stud kit, plus the rebuild work by a local shop - including touching up the porting etc

Stagea Cruise This Sunday 19th October 12.30pm
Tangles replied to RubyRS4's topic in South Australia
please Pm my friend dont know the meet spot etc cheers -
my god, cant believe these are still here the first "buyer" abused me by never paying for them and demanding delivery so many tyre kickers come on, excellent condition mags for $340 delivered, ono. pick up cheaper. better condition then when I bought them, as I spent $400 on wheel repairs to make good to new
-
too hard to say best mod, for me, lol 'cause Ive done too many a) hiflow turbocharger (but to choose that you must include the Toshi ecu remap, the safc/sitc/z32afm/adj.fpr/ebc combo) and dynotune setup b) automatic gearbox shift kit c) whiteline swaybars and bilstein shocks
-
I used Hills as a track, for 10 yrs riding. no tickets, no issues..... never but not anymore
-
fkn awesome car hey nice pick up - good to see a small kit (dayz modified) on the red stag, most red ones Ive seen are stock kits. with some 17 or 18's, little lower, top suspn, gd brakes, boost mods etc, she'll be great ! GL & HF

lol nice pics best price for some1 on a pension? lol (can supply subway lunch & grn rollies hahaha) love the wheels mate, stag looks great. -
turbo timers are legal (and good) for work vehciles that are over 2.5T, such as delivery vehciles, generally diesel, stopping and going all day etc, enables engine to keep running with doors locked etc while delivery man does his 5min job. on a sports car they are illegal. how dangerous is it, do you think, when you pull up to the fuel pump, car is still running Seven Minutes later cause of a massive hills run, and you decide to fill up the tank anyway because there is now a que behind you........ or a kiddie playing in the car in the driveway, with another kiddie behind the car, once daddy races home from work and jumps into the shower..... think about it. Not needed for sports cars, slow down for the last 5kms of your trip and dont boost it. Simple.
