  1. how will this work? front end requires "GTR" type and rear end requires "GTsT" type ie fork and oval bottom connectors
  2. query - why those particular Roh 18" mags? hopefully see it in the flesh on the cruise.....
  3. thats a decent deal IMO any engine work? Im a fan of the hankook k104 ventus tyre 17's but Im sure you can find 18's somewhere not much road noise, good sidewalls, dont get out of hand either on a 200kw stagea
  4. the car looks fantastic Grant truely does (bar the sleepy eyelids, but hey its your beast) however, none of you know what Unicorn of Pain really is. try driving thru the city to work, 6ft8' tall, 12 surgeries and no kneecaps, with knees swollen like softballs. Unicorn of Pain right there anyway, good luck with the tune. looking forward to seeing the list of all modifications done
  5. I had a super corser front, but must admit I found the pilot power better in the fact I had as much control (ie doesnt wash out at 230 in deep angles) as the SC and they lasted on average a good 25% longer mileage. The pilot power rear gives as much grip as you need with 160rwhp, can slide it with ease and comfort, and feel what she's up to. cant say that for a pilot sport or road. man I so miss my bike been exactly 51 weeks today since I sold the worked 'Blade .... can still hear those racing flatslides now. daka daka daka daka daka daka daka daka daka daka daka daka daka daka daka
  6. yeah the rear looks like the "sport" had one, crap. Pilot Powers are the beez knees on the road on track, never did it, the road (Hills) was my weekend track. so forgiving, and heaps of feedback for the road (talking 2x speed limit corners) with the front letting go, sounds like it just washed out on the gravel. Ive saved myself a few times from exactly that, twice on the zx7r when the front went out on gravel around corners, and a few times on the cbr. I dont recall the zx9r ever getting out of hand onme (from the front end), rear end yeah I used to tail slide it a bit in corners. anyway, stay safe, mend up, and ride like there (will be) is no tomorrow
  7. Pilot Power rocks the rear tyre in pic looks like a touring tyre (ie good for 11,000kms, but no good for corners) glad that you are ok tho, thats the main thing wish I could say the same
  8. id say its that shit-heap rear tyre
  9. bolt me old rb25 turbs on already !!!!!
  10. Installed dump pipe (3" bellmouth, just jap SS $220), basic hi-flow 3"cat, SITC and R34 GTT 'cooler had a 20awkw gain from 140awkw to 160awkw already had fuel pump, adj.fpr, safcII, 12psi, that netted me 20awkw at the previous tune from 120 to 140awkw IMO the r34 coolers arnt worth an upgrade over the r33, better off getting a proper front mount (you dont need to go massive). the r34 cooler stayed on for less than half a year. using a return feed apexi fmic from a 180sx now along with a hiflow turbo, z32afm for 180awkw 14psi dump pipe and good hi-flow cat will net 20rwkw get it tuned right tho with each mod as you go along on the mod journey...
  11. 10 yrs of riding no accidents, no fines, couple of big moments tho miss it like hell - made me forget my knee pain, until the knees wouldnt let me forget again. now Im in so much daily discomfort (24/7) I know I'll probably never own a bike again, and thats devestating
  12. better off rebuilding the trans with hi-performance kevlar parts you can put in a kit so that you manual-change the auto box, everytime tho. phone Mike at MV Automatics in Blackwood (SA), he's the man.......
  13. Id be in how about a drive thru the Hills, got to take city streets to get there, nice and easy, then some twists and turns, just a nice drive. stop somewhere (mt lofty etc) and again perhaps strath or lobethal etc dbl demerit on anzac so just nice ad easy with a squirt in the hills now and then......................... cool
  14. thats crazy, all that work good luck with the sale tho !!!! (Id be rebuilding the engine if you really want high power action) couldnt imagine selling mine, and its nothing to look at in all honesty, not like yours.
  15. the question is: how many stagea drivers visit the forum? it'd be nice tho, hell Id even vacumm the stag ! would need to involve some twisties, and a stop for leg stretching - something like Old Rocking Horse up in the hills thing is as we know stageas handle alright for an old boat, and a lot of us owners have partners/family could be a good day out for sure.
  16. xmetal mine was like that when I got the car, didnt like it, set it back further into the dash, didint like it, so set it like rubba has. out of the way (for my 2m height) perfectly, but yet right there....... getting some overboost with wot. =(
  17. SAFC + SITC + Z32afm + Nismo FPR isnt too bad an option, as far as bandaid measures go 200rwkw from an auto is definately doable, so add a few rwkw more on for a manual Ive got Deatschwerks 550cc injectors waiting to go in, but will be doing the remap option (in lieu of aftermarket ecu) when it comes time to put in the injectors, boost her up a little more, and tune (will keep the piggybacks for extra tuneability, I reckon).
  18. I feel it is harder now to get by (on a slightly below-average working wage) then what it was 4 yrs ago so no, I truely dont believe living conditions have improved In fact, looking at our infrastructure (roads/health/education) you can see that the $$ needed to keep everything rosy just hasnt been spent (in the right areas). my opinion only. doesnt excuse crime tho.
  19. yeah thats me I'll try to pick it up this weekend, depending on the seller did you want it? I bidded for it in case a) someone here eventually needed it, or b) i respray it (ive got paint) and use myself as my rust needs attention soon, too for a bid of $40 I figured it wasnt a bad "spare" to keep in the garage
  20. nice never thought of that my tweeters are disconnected, and I happen to have the same boost guage, in the same spot but with the lines/wires going up the side of the dash. will give it a whirl one day
  21. figures, Adelaide Hills are cherry-ripe for hispec performance motorvehicles we've got some insane twisties up there.
  22. well, no not exactly (in terms of MYself, however I acknowledge that say over 50% of ppl with chronic conditions like my own would be on the system, for sure) as said b4, Ive never taken 1 red cent off the Govt. always paid my own way, and hope thats the case in the future just at some stage I may require some "breathing space" to get ontop of health issues, and when/if that day comes then yeah I'll go onto the system for however long necessary. had to see a pyschiatrist today he's trying to assure me its not a sign of weakness, but I know he's lying
  23. yeah sorry I read it the wrong way wasnt having a go or anything (dont read too much into 3x? question marks lol) just sussing out what others thought of those who are being supported on the DSP scheme. ie those who arnt working but being supported by the Govt thru no fault of their own. sorry. dont want to, but I think its about now I have to start looking & asking for help. having a hard time of it at the moment, cant say Im a smiling chappy thesedays. in fact if I laugh its a telltale sign that Im smashed on 'Dones. my only will to live is to look after my younglings, but even now Im starting to rue the fact that I even have kids as it means I cant take the easy option out. sad but true. seeing a pysch to try to get my head back on the right track; treating depression under surgeon+gp instruction, buts thats only a bi-effect from the real situation in my opinion. ie you can pop 5 turbos and keep replacing them, but the smart thing would be to find out why the turbo's keep blowing, and fix the real cause. but no that sounds too smart. I dont see how depression will "go away" when the pain wont, and quite possibly never will. I mean, when I was told that the only option in the next 10yrs ahead of me (after 10 previous surgeries) is to take out the kneecaps prior to doing the TKR's in a decades time was that possibly the tendons might stretch and dislocate like before. was told the chances were minimal though, as in it wont be a problem wink wink nudge nudge, just sign here and we'll book you in. I did all research I could possibly do, and met with quite a few patellectomy patients. well, 18months on from right knee out and 6 on from left, all I can say is what a crock of shite. Ive learnt not to trust anyone in the health profession, unfortunately. 'cause they are all full of shite. liars, cheats, just after your medical health insurance money, and dont give a stuff how you turn out, and dont give a fuc* about trying to make you more comfortable. .............. and here I am writing (again) to Dear Diary. jeez I fail.
  24. GL with it will be sad to see you go GW with the project tho, the S2 came a long way for sure. WD, back slaps all round, but sorry cant really help out with anything
  25. lol Grant that black beast looks horrid with the camber/wheels as they are pictured each to their own for sure !!! obviously !!! :laughing-smiley-014: loved the stagea photo with it sitting so low on those wheels. looked really good IMO, show style. ie set it like that for car displays, but for driving again Id be raising it somewhat (as I wouldnt be able to get down into it !!!!) lol keep at it matey. keep at it.
