How Much Would It Take For Me To N/a My Skyline R32
Tangles replied to rustykilla's topic in South Australia
sell it and get a bike 1 -
cheapest bet would be adjustable cam gears and some sort of tuning whether that be safc/sitc, remap, 2ndhand remaped ecu off 'net, pfc now, etc
-
+1 'net in general, research etc get the best deal from 'round the world

Which Power Fc Will Suit My Stagea?
Tangles replied to RubyRS4's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
rising rate FPR's such as Sard are harder to tune the safc. (according to SK) with the nismo adjustable fpr you can bump up fuel pressure by say 2psi, and that way takes a little load off the injectors duty cycle easier to tune the nismo fpr with safc then the sard from all Ive heard/read. the shift kit will maximise the length of the gearbox life, should extend the life, will get quicker shifts, minimises the time the ecu retards the ignition on changes, definately a AAA+ modification to do. install shift kit and auto service at MV Autos is around $400 -
nothing wrong with sub-$1000 bush bearing high flow turbo's there was a $900 new highflow with Vg30 housing on ebay last week, looked like a slide unit Im using slides turbo, not the same as a KKR, probably better manufactured etc, shop around turbo rebuild shops and source a higlfow for under 1k IMO you'll need fuel pump, z32 afm, safc as a minimum for tuning

Which Power Fc Will Suit My Stagea?
Tangles replied to RubyRS4's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Rub's, Id suggest a SAFC Neo, an SITC if you can find one, a good 040 Bosch pump, a Z32 afm, and Nismo adj.FPR tune all at one for a 180awkw tune ppl will say the Nismo FPR is all bad, but they arent correct IMO. it helps when tuning a safc. -
Which Power Fc Will Suit My Stagea?
Tangles replied to RubyRS4's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
IF you do the Power-FC R34 GTT mod, you WILL need a) MV Auto shift kit for auto changes, to minimise gearbox damage thru lack of ignition retard on gear changes, eventually the gearbox will blow tho., b) you'll need luck as Duncan suggested, 3 different looms. S2 may plug and play with the secret squirrel trick, but its a risk. Mine all worked, but I decided NOT to go ahead as I cant afford a gearbox rebuild. I sold the p-fc for what I got it for. Currently dealing with Toshi for a ecu remap, my particular Stagea S1 ecu needs a small ecu - to - large ecu adapter plate soldered in, plus the ecu chip. looks to be around $650-$700 but unsure as at the moment. Hope to have this sorted out in the next month, so will keep you updated. Chatting with Toshi every second day, so give me/Toshi a month or so and I'll report back in. Once i get the ecu remap (wont be prefect as we are in different states, it'll be a guestimate), I'll have it soldered in and my car tuned with the SAFc/SITC still (fit hks actuator for 14psi stock boost) and let you know how it goes. he can remap for z32 afm, 040 bosch, highflow turbo like 2530 or 2540, 14psi, and use the safc/sitc for adjustments afterwards at your local tuner. -
on the road, simply dont boost into positive presure for the last 3mins, to let the turbo cool down naturally I turned my TT off the 1st day I got the car. heaps of wires, so I wont remove it, but just keep it turned off. (went to fill up after picking up the car from int.transport, 3mins later at petrol pump it finally turned off.... embarresing with the line up lol)

Tangles replied to craig R33's topic in South Australia
guys, the force has been doing this for over a decade. from my riding experiences, Ive learnt to suss every car on the side (for camera) and around (parcel shelf). heaps of unmarked vehicles out there end of the day dont f*** around in the metro area you can find roads in the middle of nowhere but yet not far from anywhere, hills n country, where you can have your 1min of fun and be of no harm to most probably anyone -
adelaide - delemere - victor (lunch) - strath - clarendon - blackwood would be more than enough for ppl
-
mine was rego'd in sept 2004 in qld, at 39000kms, I got it 9months later at 70000kms (lol!) around the sub-10th in adelaide, found the r34 gtt wheels from satanic, got SK's suspension kit, read heaps. got the JJR 3" dump, fmic using stock air feed, cai box, had cat-back and pod, did ebc, splitfires, safc/sitc, adj.fpr, adj.cam gear, 040 pump battery feed, stereo, suspn tune, z32 afm, hiflow turbo, tunes x4, etc etc etc over 3yrs the mods build up so yeah mine was stockish for a fair while, was cheapest in australia at the time by a good 2k, dazy kit etc, from an ex forum member (I didnt know that part..), still looks standard and Ive wanted to keep it that way. next tune with the ecu remap will be the 200awkw icing on the cake
-
too dark to get good pics left after Lofty and followed the rear end of the sweeeet tasty silver M35 up into blackwood, and took off down to Clarendon...... was wet, no traffic whatsoever awd is bliss when you know the roads (every bump, from 10yrs of bikes) and have confidence in your setup (suspn is tops, 2nd/3rd gear shift kit is sweet on boost down/up thru crnrs) as said speed limited whatever had a few bourbs and an absinth now at home, plus some *ahem anyway
-
13 ! too dark for pics took the hills home; speed limited
-

DONT go to ASE I went there with my cooler and they quoted me ELEVEN HUNDRED to supply and fit pipes my costs were $200 to do it myself Boostwerkx could help you out (they arranged the lipping for me)
-
keep the GTR cooler mate (IMHO) better design & flow etc than $200 chinese copies with the pipe kit, just exactly that off ebay for around $120 delivered, a few straight pipes, curved pipes etc decided what Id need, measured thrice, cut and fit, and re-fit then took it all apart and lipped the edges of the pipes and reinstalled no issues looks like a home job but meh thats me, dodgy 'bros
