  4. so what you need to do if you do the same path: Give Toshi details of all mods Give Toshi photo of internals of ecu Give Toshi details of all numbers on ecu work out a deal, and hope for the best
  5. OK Letting the cat out of the bag Im currently dealing with SAU member Toshi from NSW for a full ecu remap to my stagea ecu I contacted Toshi, gave him all part numbers of my Stagea series 1 auto awd ecu, along with a photo of the internals of my ecu. Toshi confirmed that he could do a remap, but my ecu would need an adapter plate from Japan. He also got details of the ecu from japan, and is currently writing a chip now. Total cost for me is $650, including adapter. Pretty much once the ecu is written, and I get it with the adapter, I go to a electronic repairer and get the current ecu chip cut out (must keep), the adapter chip installed, then the new re-written chip installed into the adapter. My ecu is a 0V300, unfortunately Toshi can only get data from japan for the 0V301. Im positive there wont be a difference. With this re-written ecu chip, Ive given toshi all my mods, asked for a 1bar tune for a highflow turbo similar to a hks2535, etc etc. speed limiter removed, rpm limit of 7000, etc. Only thing is, being interstate and a "guesstimate" tune, I will be keeping my safc/sitc piggybacks, set them to zero, install the remapped ecu chip, and then get a good dyno tune done locally. Just letting people know. It isnt done yet, but it well under way. Dont go rushing out, as it may not work, but will update you in a months time with the end result.

  13. My brother in law traded in his Navara and bought a F150, pocketed 10k difference. with that and some extra he traded in his vtr1000 honda for a MV Augusta F4 Senna, one of 30 in Australia, 300 worldwide had a ride today, good to get back on the saddle a year on. thinking I might grab a bike again, 6k for a 99' ZX9R, or 8k for a 00' ZX12R hmmm
  14. i turned my fmic on an angle, / ,return-air feed, didnt require any cutting
  15. first off: take off the lid of the afm and clean it up, resolder the connections should fix it other option is to buy one 2nd hand off sau for $50. ask around in the vic section if someone can give you a hand to re-solder your current afm internals

  20. havent had a bingle... BL dude did you cry out "whiplash!~~ my neck !!!!! arrrghghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" ??
  21. well, you can buy a piping kit off ebay for 120 I got that from the states ebay, and the apexi return-feed hybrid (50% bar&plate 50% tube&fin) for $400 off ebay japan. i know there are kits out there, chinese cores and pipe kit for 500 to suit 'Lines up to you'se how you do it and how much you spend so yeah 3k minimum for parts, probably say 500+ more for quality exhaust/fmic components then there is the fitting, and the tuning. fit yourself and get dyno'd $500, get fitted and dynoed at the 1 place 1500+ add brakes, maltech braided lines + front dba slotted rotors, pads 1500 add sk suspension kit, balanced etc 2500 easily reaches 8-9k like that for 160-180awkw, and another 4 to 5k for 230awkw estimates, a bit rough, but its just the basics: brakes, suspension, intake, cooling, exhaust, fueling, tuning etc meh, thats what Ive done anyways. S1 or S2 doesnt really matter, just that youve got different injectors and a better stock turbo. 180awkw is achievable on stock turbo, but probably 13psi which is on the limit....
  22. this man knows he does
  23. im actually hoping for 220rwkw from the auto with the front driveshaft dropped at 17psi but with the ecu remap, with ecu-chip adapter plate and data from japan, it wont be perfect out of the box, so still limited by the piggybacks. but meh, not after top power, want perfect acceleration from the awd auto. traffic light GP's are all mine (yeerrrrrr~ lol !) yeah maybe dean, we'll see what ryan wants to do, if he's up for the drive down south then its all good matey. when ya getting the last of your pc parts old fella?
  24. fuel pump, bosch 040 $200 nismo adjustable fuel pressure regulator $160 good oil + filter + new fuel filter $140 exhaust adjustable cam gear pulley wheel $200 turbo-back hi-flow 3" exhaust $1000 fmic with kit $500 k&n panel air filter $100 safc neo $400 sitc (2nd hand ebay) $250 bleed valve $50 fitting and tuning, priceless there is what you'd need for 180awkw from the Neo engine at 12psi on stock turbo and stock injectors add injectors $700 add gcg hiflow turbo $2000 add full stock computer remap at DrDrift or the likes $1300 plus etc etc etc, such as gearbox (manual - duno, auto - shift kit from MV Autos), brakes, suspensiion, etc etc etc
  25. Its a brand new actuator from nengun holds the 1bar, being the "heavy duty" hks item has the actuator top hat and rod, bag of nuts/washers and bottom screw rod for the actuator plus the mounting bracket and braided rubber hose the full kit as alan said. yeah mate I had the $20 bleed valve on there but chucked it for a ebc pretty much when I did the safc install 2yrs ago. its never held boost properly, last tune went from 14 down to 12's for 180ish kw, with 1.0 bar + 1.2 bar dialed on the dual stage ebc Im confident now it will be good to go. the exhaust is flowing well, got good intake and cooling, fueling is ok, got the adjusters to get the tune good, and (secrets out) Im doing a deal atm for a remapped chip + adapter....... will get the adjusters safc/sitc/fpr/cam-gear all sorted once the ecu is done in around 2 months time, serviced, hope for 200kw+ for sure
