bwahahaaha classic post ^^ they arnt all that bad, a practical "skyline" for a family. they DO handle very very well with properly sorted suspension...............
-
their service is good, quality is generally 80% good tho..... with my bellmouth had to have the flange rewelded, too many gaps due to shitpoor quality weld. didnt cost much. flows real well, and fits fine :laughing-smiley-014:

sounds like a nice car, why sell ? for something different ? or to pay out a car loan ? for something different, it isnt worth selling.... to reduce debt yes thats another matter. I feel 17k is on the money. Might take up to half a year tho. So factor in $500 advertising costs, and be happy with just over 16k in your pocket after the sale (ppl always want a few hundred $$ off the price).

my steering wheel has no woodgrain f**k that !! console around radio/aircon and auto shifter is the plastic woodgrain. on mine anyway.
-
sounds as if it is SO not worth it. damn happy with my justjap bellmouth turbo-cat dump stainless steel pipe. its just a round piece of metal, I HONESTLY doubt a split design would be such a huge advantage over a single tube design. not for that kind of money. its just a metal tube.......... to flow exiting exhaust gasses.............
-
nothing wrong with the woodgrain, makes my otherwise drab interior stand out a little its only plactic anyway, so paint it if you dont like it.
-
looks nice. yeah I keep my piggybacks out of sight in the glovebox..

Talk to Slide here on the forums about a turbo, I love his highflow fkn awesome turbo. whats the deal with 300rwkw with everyone these days ?? cant use it on the road so tell me JUST what is the point ? 240rwkw is just fine, surely, with a nice highflow at 1.1bar, piggyback ecus, fpr, z32, zuast and air, cam gears etc. get a bit of boost into it and you're already over the legal speed limit. want a bit more then add some cams, injectors, full replacement ecu etc no point in going overboard...... its just a car.
-
How much over all power are you after? Reason I ask is, I have the JustJap stainless steel 'bellmouth' type (non-split) dump pipe, cost me $220 delivered around 18months ago. It fits no problems, had to touch up the weld at the belmouth where the flange attaches to the turbo, but that was a minor $ issue. Fact is, for the extra cple kw's you get with the split dump, and not sure if it will fit good and proper, is it worth it? Grab the bellmouth one, a Slide highflow turbo and 1bar of goodness, and it just doesnt seem like an issue to me. 210awkw compared to 215awkw, so what, if you know what I mean.....................

Post A Pic Of Your Stagea Thread
Tangles replied to CruiseLiner's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
there was a standard 15inch 5spoke wheel with non-dayz Stagea's, look poxy to me, wont bother with a pic then there were the 16inch "BBS" style wheel with Stagea's, these were on mine as standard the mags below are 17inch R34 GTT wheels, Genkin, AlexCim, myself and plenty others use them 2 adelaide boy myself, think I had about the 5th Stagea in adelaide exactly 2yrs ago when I got mine, or thereabouts -
Rwd Or Awd. Which Stagea Is Better?
Tangles replied to stageaC34's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
the rear wheel(s) of a rwd car/bike will always want to overtake, so to speak, the front wheels. awd can help to overcome this, as when the rear wheels start to actually overtake the front wheels, the awd comes into play just enough to keep the front wheels ahead of the rear. -
wow. looks nice, sounds like a few go-well parts have been added too.

Its nice, I like the look. Ummm, guys, 44000 for a 99 seems right to me. say it was sitting around in a yard for half a year before going to aussieland, thats around 7000kms per year. What I do in mine. My 1997 S1 came with all legit books into Qld 3 years ago now at 48500, again 7yrs of Jap useage for 7000kms roughly a year...... the 1st qld owner did almost 30000km in one year :laughing-smiley-014: With the cars sitting around, I put that down to why my timing belt was starting to look old, hence it was replaced upon my first service (also put it down to over-preventative advice from the servicer). My stagea is at 91000kms now, goes like a pig in shit. Only bad spot is around the mirrors with a rust bubble either side, underneath is perfect and clean. Always ask for auction sheets and service / log books.

you'll be fine with the wheels. more so an ID check, of engine, body etc yes you can go there, I did. it is along side the sturt cop shop, looks like a council storage lot, about 80m to the west (towards Marion shoppin cntr) of the cop shop, a cple of Big shed. open tues and thurs only, 9am to 3pm. when I went I took off my pod filter and boost controller, everything else was stock as a rock and fine. they tried to get me with the windows but I took evidence (20 photos of rego'd stageas) that they conform to the national ADR's. you'll be fine, about a 20min vehicle check. tell em the wheels are standard with the nissan Dayz stagea. as they are.

good call Nick. its neive to think The Law doesnt browse these pages; they pay ppl to do that - never forget. your plates have been published in photos etc, its all there in black and white. just be careful as to what you say; and yes Im guilty of stating facts which shouldnt be shared.

Thats it, plus its a cheap 1st-off thing to do/check (plugs and coil pack silicone). If it still doesnt feel right, Id suggest, if you dont already have them, getting a Nismo Fuel Pressure Regulator and a SAFC and get a tune done, nice and fresh. The FPR will be important around the 4500-5500rpm mark along with the safc. Obviously a more expensive option, but once on the car you wont be looking back. Other then that, Id be using brake cleaner (contact clean) on the AFM, squirt it out big time and clean her up a bit, maybe clean or replace the airfilter while you are at it. Sounds like a fuel / air thing,,, but you never know, could be that the timing is slightly out. 1 dyno run might help diagnose any issue you may have.......... Umm, as for knee(s), cheers lol, read the wasteland to hear what I did (accident) yesterday. ouchies. black and blue today doh.

the spark plugs Ive mentioned above are all you'll ever need .8mm gap, copper, cheap, perfect

cheers Pauly, ta mate. Thanks for your kind words. Yup, I will be on top of the world b4 we know it, without doubt. just a rough patch Ive been going thru (for a few yrs). add into that I had a fall on my kneecapless knee this morning (11 knee surgeries), landed right on top of the big wedge that goes thru the tibia. been deicing the freezer, on tiles, and slipped over on it this morning, twsited the other knee too. Ouchies. Ouchies x lots and lots Taken 2 Endone and 2 slow release Oxycontins now, but meh doesnt work. Never mind hey. cheers !!! -
hey mate, sure thing no probs whatsoever just passing on info Ive received from this very website (SAU) Cubes gave me the plug details, and found the coil pack info somewhere around here. For the plugs, I live in SA and got them through MotorTraders. They are NGK brand BCPR6E. Places like Autobarn, Repco, SuperCheapAuto, etc etc would be able to get them for you. $2.80 ish each is the going rate, so if they say $5 let me know and I can scan/email a copy of my receipt. They are very good plugs. I will never go 'platinum' so to speak, waste of $ compaerd to these, in the long run.

How are ya Ian ?! Get some new plugs; BCPR6E They are a 0.8mm pregapped, copper, v-groove plug. They are fine up to slightly over 300rwkw odd. $2.80 each, so under $20 for a complete new set. For coils, go to a hardware store and get Selleys Industrial Strength 401 high heat temp silicone, and squirt it all around the casings of the coil packs. Let it dry and reinstall. Should stop any arc. This silicone costs $15, and a silicone gun cost me $2

Rwd Or Awd. Which Stagea Is Better?
Tangles replied to stageaC34's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
yup, happened to me back in 1996 at a roundabout when I was driving a L80 Landcruiser (full time 4wd) left, went thru a puddle and aquaplaned into a spin. scary. scared the bejeebus outa the car alongside. :laughing-smiley-014: has never happened again, but yes I get your point. -
