  1. Mate, I could go thru thousands of kms (hundreds at least!) of awesome fast hills roads - you just gotta go exploring. Best to go expolring on a real fast bike; see avatar! BW
  2. Not quite true - can get 'Boost98' here in Adelaide, 98ron with 10% Ethanol. Tried half tank of boost98 with half tank of BP Ultimate, seemed ok. 'Felt' different though........
  3. Mine are black and are standard.........
  4. go ebay all the way!
  5. Hills is always the go. Next time, how about swapping phone numbers and discussing the next stop point before we all leave the meeting point? That'd be a great start, I'll be there again for sure, and will finish it this time! Brendan
  6. Carl Cox wont be here again, so it obviously wont be worth it! Seriously, he went off at Big Day Out 05 in the evening, way off, too off to mention!
  7. Yeah was great to meet youse all, that was me in the distance with my yellow fog lights on... I too had a police car follow me between stirling to bridegwater to hahndorf.... waited at stirling on the 4th time there to see if anyone would be coming around - I kept seeing Skylines on the opposite side of the road between stirling / bridgewater and kept turning around trying to catch up..... never caught up tho, I wonder why? Weird, as I was 5secs behind up old eagle hill rd (remeber boys, I got a family wagon, and safc tune was shagged due to more air from recent fmic install), but get to the top and noone around? where did you go to? was a real pity, as I wanted to stop again and chat to ppl's. Was thinking about Mt Lofty summit, but decided I was well truley lost from the group (happens now and then with the bike group but we've since learnt to wait at turn off corners) so went down south to Clarendon and home. Oh well, next time, Stagea is being retuned on Tuesday with a box of tricky gear, then we'll see how we go! But I certainly noticed that my cheap-arsed tyres are real cheap-arse!
  8. Damn it - got lost. Oh well, but it was good to meet a few of you. Should have taken down a phone #. Just couldn't tromp the car hard enough due to it needing a retune, was a few cnrs behind up the Eagle rd, but ended up going between Stirling / Bridgewater 4 times, looking..... Cruised thru Handorf then Echunga, Meadows etc, nice drive tho! Major doh! BW
  9. some Mr.T facts....... 23 - That's the number of people Mr. T has pitied in the time it has taken you to read this sentence. Mr. T is allergic to doorknobs. That's why he can only kick through doors. Every time Mr. T pities the fool, a pornstar regains her virginity. Then proceeds to lose it to Mr. T. The last time Mr. T went to McDonald's, Ronald McDonald greeted him. What occured next proved to be the most violent beating of a clown ever recorded in human history. Despite popular belief, if there is a fool in the woods, and nobody is around to hear his jibba jabba, Mr. T is still able to pity him. When Dr. Bruce Banner gets angry, he turns into the Hulk. When the Hulk gets angry, he turns into Mr. T. Originally the A-Team was named T-Team and consisted of Mr. T and six of his genetically engineered clones driving around in a van made of pure gold. Producers changed the format after every criminal known to man was killed in the pilot episode. Mr. T's hair style is actually a complex array of antennas that can triangulate the exact location of any fool in the universe. His gold chains can then transmit pity to those coordinates. The vegetarian group PETA one time tried to establish the catchprase "We PETA the fool who eats animals." Upon learning of this blatant theft of his catch phrase, Mr. T founded McDonalds. Mr. T once got into a fight with a ninja. He killed the ninja, but only after the ninja had cut off two of his fingers. Those fingers grew up to be Gary Coleman and Webster. Mr. T's incredible greatness has been attributed to the fact that his genetic code doesn't have any A, G, or C. His genetic code is in fact, nothing but T's. Mr T defines love as the reluctance to murder. If you're still alive, it's because Mr T loves you. When Mr. T has nightmares, people around him start dying for no reason. Mr. T can count past infinity Mr. T was once clocked at 100 fps. That's 100 fools pitied a second. Mr. T was fired from the Psychic Friends Network for always predicting pain. Mr.T does not grow a mohawk on purpose. It's actually just his hair trying to give you the finger. If at the exact same moment, the same person was pitied by Mr. T and roundhouse kicked by Chuck Norris, the universe would implode. Mr. T once pitied a fool so much that the fool melted into a puddle of shame. Mr. T then pitied the fool dry.
  10. Yeah Pete, Ive seen that car b4, very nice indeed. Nozilla, are your rims all the same width that you are selling?
  11. why so many ppls want to get 'out' from theire Stagea? Mine's staying with me for the next decade......... unless I strike it lucky and even then I'll grab a 260RS.
  12. Cubes, refer to my previous post regarding engines, post 66. Id suggest that some engines will respond kindly to E-fuel, some wont respond at all to it..... just like a wife. Some will go d*wn & some wont! (sorry, best analogy I could think of) BW
  13. Im not in anyways experienced, but I dont think you'd require a Nismo fuel pressure regulator along with the injectors. Spend the cash and go injectors. Also, search ebay for great condition 2ndhand 'name' brand intercoolers direct from Japan. Or a GTR cooler for $500 local with custom pipekit (again can buy a box of pipes off ebay and cut them to suit your application). Sounds good though - I had a budget of 10k over 2yrs for my Stagea, already spent over 6k in 4 months! Brendan
  14. HAHAHA - good stuff mate, its all good! Blame the soccer! At the end of the day, youve reported your thoughts and the fact in how bad your car ran on that fuel, thats very kind of you to warn ppl's here on the forum. Cant do much more than that. BW
  15. Late start tho! Tired today (bad knees, 7 surgeries on them, very sore last night / today) but I'll be there 4 sure! See you all there, looking forward to saying g'day and showing off my Stagea "Project Stealth Wagon" Brendan
  16. Got a 'off' batch of fuel maybe? At the end of the day, each and every motor is DIFFERENT (slightly) with tolernces etc, ie they are not 100% identical. So it seems to unexperienced me that 1 RB25det engine may in fact run badly with this fuel, whilst another RB25det engine built on the same day might run fine with the 100Ron E-fuel. Example, my Firebalde 919cc engine required a rebuild at 24000kms, whereas 95% of these 919cc engines are running perfect at the same usage kms. Could have been anything from a weak piston ring to a ring not installed correctly at time of manufacture. Just a thought - BW
  17. Thats a great goal - best of luck with it. Im on your side with the budget mods as such, as I like to buy stuff off ebay 2ndhand from Japan. Nismo fuel pressure adj regulators are for $160 delivered on Nengun, and Im sure you could sell it for over $100 if it didnt work out as you planned, and then try a rising rate regulator. By the way, SITC's arnt expensive but are quite rare, so if you find one grab it! Good luck with it, keep us posted.
  18. Thanks Ben - I thought I was on the right track.... cheers to you for the very helpful comments. BW
  19. Silver... hhmm, down south (Morphett Vale) by any chance? Might have seen your car at a local Woolworths. My snow pearl was parked next to a silver one, way cool!
  20. So is it wrong to be using a Nismo adj. fuel pressure regulator, with highpressure fuel lines and bigger fuel pump, to force more fuel thru the injectors, rather than buying larger injectors? The z32 afrm will sort out the voltage side of the afm and the ability to read a larger air flow (?), and the SITC will be able to adjust the ignition timing. The SAFC will then be able to be re-fine tuned to get to 12.1 thru the rpm range. Not going to go PFC as Ive got an auto. Oh well, already got the fuel pressure regulator, so its going on the car!! BW
  21. Yeah, well, SydneyKid said to me in a Stagea-section post that rising rate regulators ie Sard, are harder to tune correctly with a SAFC.... an item such as a Nismo adustable (to +10psi) is far more accurate to tune - apparently. Im going by memory and not experience. So Ive gone by what he recommended - he 'seems' to know what he's on about!!!!!! lol Brendan
  22. Great info AC! Cheers to you all!
  23. Surfstagea - what colour is your Stag?
  24. Cubes.... what if one injector 'fouls' suddenly? Boom? 100% cant be good on the injectors / engine. Maybe time for larger inj, or fuel pressure regulator? rmahnovetsky - do a search in the Stagea section on Apexi Super Ignition Timing Computer, its SK's thread, very informative..... maybe you might want to think about grabbing one to work hand-in-hand with the SAFC? Either way next friday I'll post up in the Stagea dyno section my dyno results using larger fuel pump, z32afm, nismo fuel adj. pressure regulator, high-pressure fuel lines, and the SITC / SAFC combo. Brendan
  25. Oh, me! Yup, just sold my R34 GTT Intercooler to a fellow stagea member.... found a Apexi front mount intercooler with end tanks that return to the original holes in the engine bay, and custom'd some aluminium pipes / silicone hose to suit (see Stagea intercooler thread). So yes, retuning due to the fmic (plus all the parts Ive hoarded and have ready to install, as previosuly posted on pg1). Since putting it on the fmic has made the SAFC suck down 20% more fuel and car now has a 'wavy' power output..... so it needs a retune. Wanted the sweet-arsed look of a fmic, but yet wanted to retain standard piping holes (ie didnt want to cut under the battery like a normal fmic kit). Got the Apexi 'Hybrid' (see internet for specs) unit from Japan 2ndhand off ebay - worth $1500 new! Im hoping I'll jump from 141awkw to around 155awkw with the fuel mods, afm & ignition timing additions. Pretty much this year Im getting the fuel / air mods ready for next years hiflow job. sorry to original poster for this nasty hijack! Brendan
