  1. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...topic=90242&hl= might help with those numbers you were asking about......
  2. Im using a dual stage Hybrid brand EBC, and can recommend it. Cost f-all really. No spikes, doesnt go past what I tell it to go up to, etc. Good value for money, Mafia. With a big upgrade like you've got I would have thought it'd be wise to have a solenoid-controlled boost (although I am a newb @ turb's so my opinion counts for jack s_t). Hhhm, crating drums of petrol isnt a bad short-term solution, just initially very expensive. Maybe worth looking into to help out in the meantime, whilst you're waiting for new higher Ron petrol bowsers in your area!! Keep at it mate, well done, and I hope I never run into headf* problems when I have the $ to do my gt30-hiflow upgrade (18months away). <_< Brendan
  3. Dont lose heart mate! Eventually a solution will be found......... =)
  4. Its not the cops you need to worry about, its the Insurance...... if you're ever involved in an accident it could turn out to be 'all bad & pear shaped' if you get my meaning. But having said that, Im sure Id face the same problems with a glovebox full of piggybacks etc!
  5. Yes, I fully agree that there should be a thread in the Stagea section for sale of parts specific to Stagea's, I thought that's what a Stagea Section would be for anyway, to help out Stagea owners. Count my vote as a yes. Can you make this into a Poll?
  6. Better to check out the leaglities of spacers in Victoria first, AC. Im sure spacers are illegal in SA and might be the same in Vic.
  7. Nah, forget the Nos, go a flatslide racing carb, as small as you can find on ebay! Same $$ outlay, more HP spread, more reliable as well. Plus damn fun to get set up correctly! =) Good luck with it!
  8. Hey Mad34, call Graham West Workshops & speak to ashely or brett.... they may be able to help. They asked me why I did the safc / sitc combo and not a emanage, so I assume they may have played with the emanage previously. Worth a phone call, as those lads are very helpful.
  9. Yeah, my Stagea was like that after I installed the same kit (apexi with custom return feed to standard area). Felt great, until the rpms started climbing higher, plus it ran around 15% richer (ie used 15% more fuel). I already had a SAFC tuned, but went back and had it retuned along with a SITC piggyback & a Z32 AFM, now have 160AWkw and a very nice power curve all thru the rev range (being held back slightly in a couple of areas due to the adjustable fuel regulator). Id suggest its now 'reading' too much air and therefore putting in more fuel to compensate? Grab some piggybacks!!!
  10. In the meantime grab a small Mikuni or keihin FCR flatslide carb... that'd be awesome on a little pocket bike, AND it wouldnt blow the engine. Better tuning and great performance, arguably as good as a Nos shot.
  11. Yeah Jase, if I imported myself I would have gone thru Jspec or Prestige. Have it delivered to Qld, maybe Nismo or someone who had a plate for a decent price (your importer who you pay that service fee will chase all that for you), and do all the necessary compliance work. Get one close to stock to save across-state headaches! Once its all 'legally complied' and ready to be registered, have it picked up by a transport company (I used Autotrans when I grabbed my Qld rego'd Stagea in July) and sent down to you. From there Im sure you can apply for a temp rego slip for 24hrs to drive it to Regency to have it fully inspected (if not then have it towed), and for the paperwork to be presented etc. Should be aok, as long as its a stock as a rock. Best of luck with it - I didnt have the guts to do it plus I found a great Stag for under 18k in Qld, but maybe next time........ Brendan
  12. Great info Gary.... my tuners seemed to suggest that they could get it to work, but if that involves frying gearboxes then Im not intrested!!! Im pretty happy with the 160awkw Ive got from the SAFC / SITC combo.... thats a great start for tuning an automatic RB25DET.
  13. I believe another option is the Autronic with the auto.... but thats around $2500.....
  14. ARC units come up very regularly on ebay.com, genrally straight from Japan. I recently saw a couple of R34 'coolers on ebay.uk, but hate to think what delivery might cost!
  15. What mechanic are you going to, and have they installed these Emanage systems before in to Skylines?
  16. Grab a flatslide carurettor setup whilst your mucking around with the Nos as well!!! Now that'd be 1 mean pocket bike
  17. after a cluster? they come up from time to time on ebay....
  18. DO IT!!! i want a stagea Adelaide cruise!! easy as pie mate, get it sent into a compliance shop in qld, have all paperwork ready in hand, have it shipped down to Regency, and its all done. easy....... sort of!
  19. Who here is a DOD:Source fanatic? Add your username so we can all tell who's from SAU, and hopefully we can all make a personal effort to 'Boom, Headshot' you! Sgt. Tangles
  20. Best Game on PS1 was.............. Parasite Eve. 80hrs later and I'm ready to replay again & again!
  21. Your counting down I see, hehehe, doesnt last long I can assure you! Big expensive day for such a small period of time, and when the other-halfs family get involved it spirals out of control....! But yeah, best of luck, and please do get some wedding photos of the participants alongside the sweet-as bevy of Stageas. Post 'em up, thatd be cool!
  22. Cheers mate, its for sale if someone is truely intrested, but otherwise my grand plan has always to ride it hard for 5yrs or so (owned it for 2.5yrs now, and built it up over 18months). Not bothered either way really; if that makes sense to people? I doubt many people would appreciate the long list of mods & unreal performance, etc. Brendan
  23. Luv the ZX12R simly because its big, and Im big, so we go hand in glove, so to speak. Im just too big for the current litre bikes. The fireblade has been raised at rear by 2 inches, pegs dropped as far as possible, and Im still too cramped for room. But yeah, nothing in this world like getting your knee down on a nible / powerful 1litre sports bike! There's plenty of extra power in that big Ninja engine waiting to be untapped, and my mechanic (ex 500gp rider) is a wizz with suspension, so could get it sorted to go around corners AND fast on straights. Not that Im buying one, just like them thats all! Cheers, as I said its all good!
