  1. I'll bring a list of examples of official club rules, joining membership forms, club letter etc villis this friday night, probably 8pm
  2. fair points... re: public officer, ive been helping to do the secretary work for my mum, and treasury work for my dad, for the FJ-FX 48-215 Car Club SA inc for 5 or so years. have all the docs such as minutes, rules, legals etc. updating membership + posting Club Letter every few months, few runs per year with overnight stays arranged, also do the balance sheet, etc. lots involved, meetings monthly. mum and dad love it as they are right into FJ's and FX's, but dont use PC so I do that side of it for them. lots involved. good fun with rewards at the end, such as pride @ winning a cup at a show n shine at Pt Lincoln or something like that, if thats your thing, with a caravan park half booked out by club members. the old birds and blokes with polished FJ's isnt my side, thats my old's but I help them with the pc running of the show, so I know the other side of running a club...... if you need a hand pm me. it could potentially grow to be a large club, with the cams side of things, but the Officer side of things is a hard but fundamental role in the formation and on-going success of a club
  3. see attachments Mallala_Drift_Practice_Form_P1.pdf Mallala_Drift_Practice_Form_P2.pdf
  4. forms signed ready to go. will be awesome cheers; cant wait
  5. knees have been sore ey well over budget - 110k plus on these two puppies mofo's hey
  6. using the same head as before? same bottom end as before? Id be using a totally new engine setup, different bottom end and head from a RB, rebuild it all again. massive detonation going on. 93 ron fuel - do you have higher ron fuel available, or additives? 93r on a RB is a bit low, easier for the engine to detonate. fuel delivery isnt right, somewhere. redo the lines as a single unit one fuel pump (bosch), use a nismo fpr if need be (NOT rising rate fpr) bad bad luck. best of luck with the next project build. hope you are using a manual and setting the right tolerances for bolts etc.
  7. yes count me in pm if you wanna hook up somewhere before heading in
  8. all I can add to the X-fi is that creative cards are shit house been through too many issues to ever worry about buying one again. useless useless company received my asus xonar d2x soundcard 2 days ago, awesome quality and better sound than from creative x-fi fatality pro series took a while for the pc to recognise it, but oh man music is amazing with the high quality xonar pci-e4 card
  9. dude sell a bike or two, sell the silver stagea keep the black stagea and do the manual conversion sometime down the track if/when u & misses get a kiddy you'll love the stagea even more
  10. dont worry about it they've been and gone, wont be back
  11. with that setup you'd be expecting 290kw + dropping the exhaust on the dyno would be the 1st thing to check (re compliance cat), or bolt in a decat pipe and see where it goes.... looks good tho, hope you sort out the issue
  12. for sale: 4x 235/45/17 tyres, some tread left, $40 for the 4 1997 rb25det camshafts exhaust & intake - $100 for the 2 exhaust dump pipe and front pipe, stock rb25det - $50 2x 700cc sard injectors setin intake manifold pipe, with hks aic-4 controller - $450
  13. Im currenttly building my own turbocharger, should be the sort of thing you'd be after. ie a garrett GT2871R instead of your gt3071r Ive got a garrett gt2871r chra core, pulled it down and she's cactus. purchased a new centre ball bearing cartridge, purchasing a garrett exhaust turbine shaft with 60-1 front compressor wheel and full rebuild kit using my hiflowed and ported rb25 compressor and exhaust housings all up $500 cost plus a rebalance fee at ATS or MTQ, less sale of current highflow chra ba boom ! now theres how to save a grand on a turbo
  14. latest project: purchased new ball bearing centre section have a GT2871 center turbo cartridge, will rebuild with the new bb unit Im awaiting on. have to decide on the wheel and shaft. TD06H 20G rear with 60-1 compressor? or keep with a T3 turbine wheel (# 303102.229" exducer dia., 2.559" major dia.) and use a T3 60-trim Compressor wheel (#20272 1.830" inducer dia., 2.367" major dia.) will be using my current housings, with this rebuilt ball bearing gt2871r with new balanced shaft/wheel set 400-450hp .... thoughts? use my current turbo wheels (slide highflow) along with the housings, or buy new items? trying to keep costs down tho. so far cost is $140
  15. I so want one just for the sticker Im in !! needs to be SAU:SA in my opinion, affiliated right here. backing whoever drives it all the way - go for it !!
  16. I never saw anything. must have missed something
  17. cheers NEIL and NENE for the message much love for the work & relationship the two of you are harnessing makes me rest assured, that thru my 'driving style' I'll continue to have no issues on the road, no accidents, no speeding fines, no pull-overs 'cause thats how it is when you do the right thing on the metropolitan streets. just cause Ive got an RB engine and participate as a keyboard warrior on a widely read forum doesn't paint me out as a so-called target on the road. drive safe, drive aware.
  18. I just had this similar issue, after a tune last week. last night replaced the spark plugs with new ngk bcpr6e .8mm plugs had the battery disconnected during the job, reset and its all fine now.
  19. but there was an agenda, and that little scenario (if true, what I heard) created an opportunity for the Powers to run with it.
  20. lol I havent been pulled over in this century far out
  21. out of left field the drug shop laws were passed thru as a favour to the Powers to get Ranns son off a 3pound possession charge
  22. I went to a NATRAD store and they fitted (pretty sure from an R33 auto series 2) a 5mm thicker Koyo aluminium radiator works a charm, temps are now always low black aluminium 22mm thick Koyo to suit r33 s2 auto
