Finally got the time to take the ABS unit off, pretty easy 5 lines & 3 bolts ah & the 3 connectors + the earth ,mind u the lines can be pretty tight ,used a little butane torch to warm up the housing after i damaged the first nut, have all the o-rings & will take apart & replace them all tonight while at work.
Will take some pics also thru the whole process.
Pissed at the damage the leaking fluid has done to my paint work!
Any ideas on repairing that area that the brake fluid has come in contact with?
Know the feeling m8!!!!
& yeah it's a gamble to get one(radar dect) ,& where u r located personally NO,NO,NO, but thats my opinion, get a speed alert fitted instead maybe,& get to the track on a regular basis, it helps.
Not sure just came up blank.
Have someone looking at them atm ,but apparently file names & some file associations have changed?
Really just want photos & a vehicle log i had.
Yeah u can tackle it at home but make sure u use a jack & good quality stands.
You will also need a spring compressor of some type.
And when completed a wheel alignment.
Cheers & have fun.
theres a plug/connector under the glovebox on the righthand side that controls the flap ,the pins on the pc board that the plug connects to are known for breaking away from the board(dry joint).
see if it works when u turn it on then give the plug a little wiggle.
