    Car Removal

these car collectors advertise in the tradingpost too
  3. 'cept to the tool who couldn't resist a burnout
  4. RB30 block is plenty strong Don't forget it's made out of iron and has dry liners- not a weakass wet liner alloy setup.
  5. your friend is a mega-stooge yes, plenty of ppl have put RB sixes in S14's, but they don't come from the factory that way
  6. nup- Nissan
  7. what sort of boost controller???
  8. yes the tightness of the diff is irrelevant with ur mini-spool i guess. lol
  9. im sure they are heavy when all the fasteners, fluid and 4 steel pistons are in place if you just disconnect them from the car
  10. Smurf Blood (blue) for the gearbox Red stuff for the diff (nb: i makes mechanical diffs very tight) Yellow: don't know, but probably the auto trans stuff
  11. you don't even need them- hence why the factory doesn't use 'em there is a little bulge at the outer edge of the normal front indicators that allows you to see it light from pretty much any angle along side the car, and if they're (other cars) are too far back to see it, they'd see the rear indicator anyway.
  12. or just do what i did on my 32 GT-R pull the zitsy side indicators out and stick the red and white 'GT' badges over the holes
  13. It'd have something to do with the way the ECU cross referrences the rev/load tables in your pre-cam tune with the TPS values it expects. So the airflow has gone up (which the computer sees as extra load through the AFM), but the cylinder pressure hasn't gone up much, due to most of the air flowing straight out the 'zorst valves at low revs, so you get lots of unburned fuel.
  14. All GT-R's from late 91 onwards use pull type clutches- the clutch fork, via the thrust bearing, pulls on the pressure plate rather than depressing it. It allows a higher clamping force for the same spring pressure owing to the way the pressure plate fingers are fulcrumed. Helpful in an AWD car. Most manual cars just use a push type clutch. Not sure about ur GTT though. Someone will post the answer in a sec I'm sure.
  15. There is more airflow through the engine due to the increased valve timing overlap- hence the ECU is doing what the AFM tells it to do and adds more fuel. Simple.
  16. An R32 GT-R weighs at least 150 kegs more than a 32 GTSt, and it has an alloy bonnet and front guards. So the upgraded components must add up to around that.
  17. Martin place in Sydney CBD on a weekday may be more effective
  18. "maybe you are all homosexuals too?"
  19. +1 for cabbie hate The most erratic, near-miss causing and last-second-lane-changing drivers on the road. Sydney would be a better place instantly if they cut the amount of taxis allowed on the roads outside of friday and saturday night by about half. The only thing i hate as much as a taxi is anything big and diesel powered.
  20. just hit the back of the spokes with an angle grinder
  21. From the back of the latest issue of HPI 10.12@134mph on treaded tyres no idea about drag slicked GTSt's in NSW, but the SubZero one did 9's on slicks in QLD
  22. lucky for you guys that all of the spots are already taken....'coz my Pulsar would pwn you all. mmwuhaha
