My friend in the DA series has an RB25 gearbox behind a big single turbo'd RB26 in his 32 drift car. He clutch-kicks it in 4th gear, and it hasn't caved in yet- so you should be okay

HPI tested one a few years back- Martin Donnon reckoned you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference in most cases.
Not exactly common though.
the inner guards protect the underside of the front panels though.
not as important on GTS-t's i guess, but good insurance against little dents from rocks on GT-Rs
You will need to disconnect the driveshaft from the transfer case to the front diff on a 33 (or 34) to turn it into pure RWD, unfortunately.
The attesa wet multi-clutch plates in 33's and 4's run preload and never fully disengage.
