    yeah the timing equipment at WSID is obviously better than it was at the old Creek strip, because i seem to remember any better than a 0.004 at the old track was classed as a redlight.

    genuine's good gear anyway- get a quote and then ring one of the auto parts chains and see if they stock and equivalent and compare prices they aren't a super-expensive part though

    i'm guessing your problem is mostly caused by wheelspin due to a very peaky power delivery? you could always try loading the old clutch against the throttle just before the flag drops, and slipping it a bit on take-off (p.s will obviously be harder on the clutch though)
