far too large for what you have in mind
cams won't 'drop in' either- the top of the heads will need extensive machine work to provide clearance for the cam lobes
lol @ Brundle calling Alonso "Lewis's best mate"
missed that first time 'round
oh, and Schumi seems to have become a grumpy old bastard that drives people off the road rather than accept he's too slow (for whatever reason)
by 'maps for both BP98 and E85'; do you mean you can switch between them on the ECU from one day to the next, or the different tunes are on file at your tuner's shop?
Does anyone know the equivalent Ferrodo part number to the Bendix DB1250's?
Was just down at Repco and they don't have a match in the system. The rear set (DB1144) match to a Ferrodo alternative for half the price of the Bendix CT's
Hey All- I'm after the kerb-side parker lens assembly for a series-1 Stag
I'll be tracking this topic, so if you have one or know of one being sold, please post in this thread. cheers
Shaun
valve float is caused by huge revs that take the springs well past their ability to make the valve follow the cam profile
i doubt it'd be that unless the springs are spectacularly stuffed
*returns to pits after NOT turning revs down* head mechanic- "now me and the mad scientist gotta tear the block down and replace those rings you fried. you may have overheated the motec-system exhaust too..."
So it seems Webby may well have the skill AND the car to win a WDC, but He'll likely be robbed of it by team orders like "turn revs down, pistons wearing heavily on crown"
