I removed my speed limiter last night and I'm just wondering if it can have any adverse effects on the car besides the HICAS? - which isn't a problem seeing as though my HICAS is non - existent anyway... Will it damage the speedo at all going past the 180 on it? I know in my mates supra it did.. Also, unlikely as it sounds, could it do anything to the engine??

Haha yeh I got that stuff, Do the pineapples come with basic instructions like where each one goes or? is it pretty obvious.. I have a rough Idea where they go.. just wanna make sure.

I found a japanese baseball... some touch up paint - one of which wasn't the colour of my car... and, although I didn't realise at the time so I threw it out, one of those sump plugs with a valve in it... And my original owners manual... oh and a japanese coin i think... has 100 on it i think...

HAH finally!! Was thinking of asking this problem myself!! Its a right bastard to get off eh?!?! It pisses me off as I lean on the car and it trys to rip the bloody hairs off my arms!! I will get around to doing it this weekend Cheers guys!!

Maybe your throttle postion sensor was loose? That can change what revs the engine is doing pretty significantly. Just check to see if it is loose, that way you can eliminate it as the problem if its ok..

This is strange to say but the last few speed cameras I have gone thru haven't gone off... and I know I was over.. oh well, I'm not complaining I decided to be a good citizen on the way to work today and stayed at the speed limit in the left lane, suprising how many people will just sit there in the right hand lane... Makes me wish I had an UZI so I could drive by those fools...

Stuck cable seems more likely... If the clutch had slipped it would be pretty bad and you wouldn't go anywhere.. Maybe clean up your throttle assembly area... Never heard of that before tho...

How well do the jaycar kits hold boost? Do they compare to the name brands? Already got a basic boost gauge for $40
