I didn't even check locally as Nissan here (tassie) are useless. You can get generic chinese ones for about $12 but I didn't want to take a chance on those so bought genuine.

I got genuine from the US for about $100. Changing it isn't difficult as long as you know how the clips undo!

I need to do mine as well. They are at the BACK of the engine and not the blue plugs at the front (I'm an idiot!!! LOL)

I'm pretty sure Craig (Jetwreck) had a couple of spare ecu's.

Woudl it be intermittent like that though? Drove the car yesterday no problems and again this morning and drove as usual. Are the sensors easy to replace? Cost?

Driving home late on saturday night I pulled out onto a road after going up a decent hill and the car stalled. I started the car and it stalled again but it started easily both times. The second time it stalled I started it and just drove the rest of the way home with no further issue. Full tank of fuel. My car has nbever stumbled or stalled EVER since I've had it. Yesterday I tried unsuccessfully to get the fault codes but after 5 or 6 goes I couldn't get the CEL to flash. I am confident I was doing it correctly as I had the instructions next to me. Was this just an anomaly or is this symptomatic of the MAF starting to die? Car has 90k's which I firmly believe are genuine and has never had an MAF in it since I've had it. Opinions?

Fair enough I think mine are ok but not as powerful as I'd hoped but as you say I don't use mine much. I'm in no hurry to replace them and thought I'd ask as I hadn't heard that the lose brightness over time previously. What are new bulbs worth anyway?

Do HID bulbs need replacing after a periosd of time? I saw on another unrelated forum a discussion about replacing HID bulbs after a few years as they begin to lose their brightness, does this sound right? Mine are fine (I think) but they are 10 years old and I will replace them if they are a consumable item. The discussion was around BMW HID bulbs in cars built around the same time as m35.

Why was the cracking noticed only on inspection or did it feel or sound funny when you were driving it?

Maybe the attessa system trying to engage all whell drive? Is that possible Scotty?

Yes you're right they're not even remotely close to being in the guards. Looks tough but would be cop bait??

So josh is there more mid range, top end, all through the rev range? Can you advise what difference if any it makes? Thanks

Yes the road falls away a fair bit into the gutter. I live on a big hill basically. Sorry for rubbish pics the battery must have been going flat.

Here's a couple of rubbish pics of my car with the new wheels on 19*9.5 + 35 with 245/40/19 tyres. The handling is much improved. I can't get the caps on because of the hub nut things but I think it looks good without the caps anyway.

Hey Josh can you be a bit more specific with the difference the intake made? I want one but don't want the AFM cut out issue or maxing the injectors. You have the standard turbo as well? Hey Dale can you pm me the price on yur intake please?

I have to say the 245 40 19's on mine ride just as well as the 215 55 17's they replaced if they are any harsher it's is not noticeable but I put that down to the Bilsteins. I can really notice the lateral handling improvement with the extra tyre on the road. My 2 c.

I only put them on Thursday and nothing as yet. I think a few others have run the same spec with no issue. When I think about it there must be more room because I tried on and drove with some 19*9.5 +38 as well. I will double check. I also have the Bilstein suspension in mine if it makes a difference?

Yes I agree with Alex I think you will have issues on the inside not the outside, I have 19*9.5 +35 and there is very little room to the suspension I have around 3mm to the strut.

BTW the harness you need is for a 350Z. The one I used isn't listed on ebay again at the moment.
