  1. Oh man, Mitsu girl. Even her teeth are presentable
  2. Are those the actual rims you are selling? Is it just me or does that look 16"
  3. ^ exactly. GTR seats are good bang for buck, but if you've got the extra cash def 2nd hand recaros or brides
  4. Not normally a fan of airbrushed cars, but that actually looks rather good
  5. Boooooooooooooo Haha but thats the way it is with cars and builds, always delayed. You better have a good update and write up tomorrow
  6. Yeah I quite like that look of bonnet too, especially on the white FD, but without that centre front facing vent. But I dont think there are any off the shelf. Probably can get one custom made but will cost you a bomb to make sure it looks as sexy as that white one
  7. Haha, thanks Yidz and Adam Yeah go for GTR style bonnet. Btw, love the MS paint whitewalls
  8. oi update already!
  9. LOL at the '5 minute very hot' girl. I mean look at her nose That Mitsubishi girl is something else though
  10. ACTIV32 its Garage Yanack fenders.
  11. Eh? I thought this car had 650whp. I expected faster times and MPH?
  12. Yeah true, I agree with what dangerous daveo said about it being the perception of a WRX or STi, since it has always been a sedan. I say if it starts demolishing everyone in the WRC then people might give it a chance, especially since certain reports have praised the mechanical side of things. Whatever happens, to me it already looks much better than the base model which was Just still having problems coming to grips with the STi being a 'hot hatch' PS. I'd still own a v9 or v8 over this
  13. ^ Its not as easy as that mate. You are forgetting the fender which looks like the most expensive part to fix. Not to mention the rear reinforcement bar or whatever its called. The fuel tank looks a bit screwed too. Whats that I see on your left C pillar near the top?
  14. Or alternatively you could paint strip it to get the silver like on 34gtr intercooler cores.
  15. ^ Haha, white FTW Thanks for that, yeah ive actually been thinking about getting n1 sideskirts, n1 lip and maybe trust rear pods. But I want to keep a clean look too. Bah, can never make up my mind. Here are a couple more pics I posted this one before quite a while back. Not too sure why it turned out slightly yellowish/reddish though. Also, anybody got any advice on how to capture the carbon weave in the bonnet? Maybe its just the lighting? A bit boring: And, just for fun:
  16. I reckon probably spray it like you said, then go at it with a brush, using high temp white paint. Or if the words on your tyres stick out and you're lazy you can probably spray a cardboard with the paint, then press the cardboard onto the letters. Then perhaps touch it up later with a brush again. Disclaimer: Haven't tried it or seen it done before, just an idea. It will possibly also flake off after a short period
  17. Normally, you dont have to change anything else unless something breaks down the track due to the heavier clutch.
  18. The general consensus is that Maxxis tyres are pretty good. But in the end it still boils down to which model you use. One of the Maxxis tyres rated in the top10 of wheels/motor (cant remember) tyre test if im not mistaken. And about workshops, depends where you are located.
  19. Haha, cheers! The photos were taken by me and a friend on his SLR. Just a bit of mucking around. Ive got quite a few of the photos from that session, but only a couple turned out good, thats why I havent posted many pics When I get my car back from getting my engine rebuilt, i'll need to organise a time with him to borrow me his cam as I haven't got anything decent.
  20. Cheers for the comments guys Yeah cutting the brackets back has been on the list of to-do's for quite a while now, along with some other shiz to tidy the car up.
  21. Practice and good tyres should see close to a flat 12?
  22. If you can do some of the work yourself like engine in/out and disassembling and reassembling the engine you will save yourself 2k+ off that price. No forgies = save 1k Id say the simplest most basic of rebuilds would cost around $3k which is mainly machining, seals, gaskets, etc. if you do all the work yourself. With that said however, it is still money that could be spent elsewhere and which is why hazerb30 and myself are advising you to get a car with a rebuild already done or get a good condition healthy one and keep it stock, with regular servicing. Both should last you years if you take proper care of it.
  23. Yeah an average rebuild will be around 7-8k. That is with forged pistons and everything else cleaned/machined/balanced.
