  1. Ahh sweet, which part of Thailand did you go to? Great food, tiger shows, and cheap shopping but still pretty dodgy these days
  2. I also dont really like the idea of the high-spec, low-spec GTR's. IMO it should all be high spec. It is a GTR anyway. But I guess they have to make the car appealing to rich businessmen too with the lower end, higher luxury spec.
  3. I am glad they removed those black thing-o's that continued from the bottom of the headlights, like when it was a concept. This new one looks much better. Albeit more like a Zed.
  4. Yep, the difference is in the fact that the factory power figures are at the flywheel, whereas the dyno is most likely a chassis dyno, meaning the output is at the rear wheels. That is where the term rwkw (rear wheel kilowatts) comes from.
  5. Since you revved it when the car was stationary, there wasnt any load, so the oil pressure wouldn't have gone up much more than 2 anyway. Have you looked at the oil pressure when the engine is under load, ie. accelerating? My guess would be you blew some of the cat's internals out, especially since you said the car feels/ sounds fine.
  6. Hmm, thats different to my situation where it just wouldnt go into reverse no matter what situation it was. It would just get stuck 1/4 of the way in even when the car was off/on and clutch in/out. It was a problem with one of the forks getting sort of dislocated, getting jammed and not letting me get into gear. But for yours I doubt its a gearbox problem.

  8. It screams and wont go in? Meaning its grinding when you try to enter into gear? Or is it sort of like its stuck in neutral?

  10. The brix is a good compromise between a full bucket and comfort. The side supports are pretty high and from my opinion is pretty tight around the thighs. What is the Cuga? Never heard of it. New model?

  12. Hahaha blind elk. And finster you gotta get used to it. Im in the same situation as you, drive slowly, car looks stock, but still get so many 'random' pull overs. Sillylankan you think its gotta do with driving in the city? I would have assumed it would be worse in the suburbs, with less cars around and cops with nothing to do.

  19. IMO although driving definitely plays a part (if you come around a corner sideways, you are obviously gonna get pulled over), I dont think that is the main factor. In my situation, my car looks standard from the outside besides the rims and exhaust (no tint even), and I drive even slower on the streets than when im in the daily, but yet I have been pulled over a ridiculous amount of times, im guessing coz of my record of license suspensions (which wasnt from driving dangerously or the like, eg. P plates not displayed, going through an amber light only to be pulled over for 'jumping a red light', etc.). Perhaps living 100m away from a popo station doesnt help my cause either. I have put a lot of thought into this and I was thinking maybe i drive too slow, therefore looking suspicious? Haha, I can only hope things get better when I get my fulls not long from now This obviously doesnt apply to you so I wouldn't be worried if I were you
  20. +1 for Jack's GTR. Super clean, tasteful mods, extremely quick around a track. The Alcon's, black LMGT4s and the Ztune style carbon bonnet does it for me

  22. Yeah i'd say in your circumstances, you are much less likely to get picked on than I would be for example. Mainly being im a P-plater and have lost a substantial amount of points over a period of 2 years. I say go for it, especially if you plan to keep it sleeper style like you mentioned, you should have nothing to worry about, since you are doing nothing wrong, and have such a clean record
  23. I agree Beer Baron and Ronin_09, as im using a 70mm ARC unit myself, with similar power output to what you want. You can get the Nismo gear from Nengun or greenline etc., or a few traders from this forum can import one for you too.
