  1. 7-speed auto in the KV36 with the 3.7 motor for JDM, but the US got a 6-speed manual... :-) But I do have flappy paddles now!!
  2. Traded mine in yesterday.... Sad to see it go after 5 years good service, but a 09MY 370GT sedan is helping... Been a great few days in Melbourne for a 245kW rwd car... :-) missing the AWD already..
  3. My KV36 Skyline 370GT sedan was imported and complianced by Luxury and Performance Vehicles in Bayswater VIC. Once they had a deposit off me and they knew I was serious and able to help them identify suitable cars from the auction sites, we got on very well. They were even able to suggest newer vehicle with higher kms and grade and this is what we bought. Ability to trade in my M35 Stagea was the icing on the cake. Stagea was imported and complianced by Northshore Prestige and the car was excellent. Only changed it because it was coming up 13 years old, I don't need the space anymore (wife has Volvo XC90) and I wanted something more modern.
  4. And if you do not have the little code from the key tag.....
  5. Or would this key be more likely to work? http://justjap.com/index.php/genuine-nissan-key-remote-nissan-r35-gtr.html
  6. So restarting an old thread... So basically you need a consult3 like this http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/281266331553?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 and the NATS stuff like this http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/111259157910?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 and a new or could it be a used key? Would this one work? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/171288573726?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 And you should be good to go? Or am I missing out a whole heap of extra steps?
  7. Just for interest... Have you changed or adjusted your tyres or wheels at all? And did you check the brake fluid level?
  8. So just a nav system connected into the AUX inputs using a seperate dedicated remote? No touchscreen interface, just a display screen.
  9. Looks like Tyresales have plenty of them... http://www.tyresales.com.au/search?search=brand&brand=KUMHO&model=ECSTA%20SPT%20KU31&width=&aspect=&rim=&load=&speed= What size were you looking for?

    M35 Radiator

Wasn't it a V35 one you fitted in my car last year? I think it was a little higher, and you had to trim the shroud a little to get it all to fit, but you reckoned that it was straightforward...
  11. Yes either that or the 120+kg... Borrowing a Renault Clio RS 200 at the moment, might have to see what score I can get on the G-Meter... Gotta love the Nissan/Renault parts sharing..
  12. This is identical to what I had... Scotty fixed it, after pressure testing my intake (which was fine) and changing out my discusting plugs, by getting me to put the old AFM sensor back in... If that had not worked, next stop was O2 sensor and seeing what Consult said. He did suggest that my inlet was good, partially because I am on stock intercooler, and nothing has been touched, so that might be a good starting point. Good luck with testing!!
  13. Another 6'4" in an AR-X so with the power seat. No issues at all with head room, I actually have my seat raised a little, from dropped to the floor to give me more thigh support. Did the intial drive from Sydney to Melbourne, and felt great even after 10 hours in the car. In my R33 on the way to Sydney, I was exhausted... That pocket next to the lighter, you just get used to and it now feels quite comfortable to rest my left leg on. Doesn't really rub, as that leg does not move, after the intial parking brake off.. And as for that blind spot... At my height I've been looking under and around mirrors for years... Just got used to it...
  14. This is like the whole seat covers on leather discussions.... Keeping the car nice for its next owner while missing out during your ownership...
  15. Hi All, Looking at PV36 or KV36 and my current FAST install only has up to the end of PV lifecycle... Does anyone have a source for the updated "CD" that could contain the info for KV36? Or at the least could someone FAST the ID for me? KV36-400186 As usual, mainly interested in what options are fitted. Nick
  16. The V35 coupe mid pipe is a direct replacement for the Stagea one... The 350Z one is basically the same but shorter, efectively by the straight bit fitted to the engine end of the V35 coupe one.. Mine was $120 from Niss4x4, and took about 20 minutes to fit. 2 months later took another 10 minutes to remove the brace thing on the tranmission tunnel, prop shaft catcher thing, as the exhaust was hitting it..
  17. Put the old one back in... And I rekon it feels better.... Revs cleanily, not sure about the smoke, mirrors and back window are now filthy after spending time at Officer railway station... Not sure what the hell is going on there...
  18. Puffs of black smoke at the same time as the hesitation? Fuel consumption gone crappy? Might be same as me and Duncan...
  19. might need to speak to one of the Russians... Reckon they would be the only people using M35 Stagea's in a LHD market...
