Turbo Or Supercharge?
WazR32GTSt replied to V35DRIVER's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
HKS GT supercharger - the ONLY way to go i did a whole lot of reading when i was looking into the idea stillen supercaharger is great but requires a new bonnet vortech can be unreliable from what i read HKS makes great power and is reliable but is expensive Turbo kits require a lot of new parts and have issues with underbonnet temps on a daily driven car -
i will ship the strut bar for $230 interstate including postage
-
it sure was Chris Rogers
-
i can, but essentially the 350z engine cover is worth next to nothing also its too large to post so would have to be a pick-up item i can make it $180 for the strut bar alone but you're better off going with the 350z engine cover as well as it gives the engine bay a better look than showing the entire intake manifold let me know if you're interested..

After almost 2 years of ownership, my ar is up for sale unfortunately it must make way for a 4-door car which was inevitable but the time has now come the car is QLD registered until December 2008 this car has been to Chris Rogers and has had 'the works' applied to it. he is the only person who has touched the car and as such all the work converting the GPS/DVD/bluetooth etc is his doing and the work is 100% top notch 2003 Nissan Skyline CPV35 350GT 3.5L V6 5 speed tiptronic automatic 39,000kms Brilliant Silver Black leather/suede This beautiful V35 skyline coupe is in excellent condition. It has been pampered since taking delivery. It has been serviced regularly at 5000km intervals since being imported with 25,000kms on the clock in 2007. This car has the most factory options you will find – I guarantee you will NOT find a car with more options, especially one which has been fully converted to play Australian DVDs, play music from any MP3 player, run Australian navigation software, and with fully integrated Bluetooth phone capabilities! This car has everything that is standard on the V35 coupe, as well as additional features that are listed below. These are all factory options that you will not find on many of these cars that are advertised for sale. Factory options include: “Premium pack” including leather/suede interior Bose stereo upgrade including in-dash 6-disc CD player that plays burnt CDs Reversing camera Drop-down side mirrors when in reverse Auto folding-in mirrors when the car is locked Xenon headlights Auto-on/off headlights Dual-zone climate control Steering-wheel radio control buttons TV screen running GPS, car information, and DVD Aluminium pedals Privacy glass Tinted windows – darkest legal Factory Nissan alarm and immobiliser integrated into factory key with optional shock-sensors Remote central locking Factory 18” wheels with Yokohama tires (7-spoke in shadow chrome finish) Auto-dimming rear mirror with “homelink” (integrated infra-red control for your garage door) Factory front and rear pods Other options include: Dash buttons converted from Japanese to English using factory nissan parts Australian GPS maps converted – running Garmin GVN52 unit DVD player playing all zones with MP3 capability – hidden in glovebox Parrot LS3200 colour Bluetooth handsfree device dully integrated to run through the factory car stereo Additional immobiliser installed Modifications include: Selby swaybars – fully adjustable RDA slotted rotors with high-performance pads (rb74 pads) Large transmission cooler installed to the factory automatic transmission Upgraded factory horns to “sport” horns Disabled TV screen “cut-off” when driving so that it is always visible Converted Japanese AM/FM stations to Australian frequencies The car comes with an English user manual, 2 original keys, plus valet key. Please don’t make the mistake of thinking that any V35 you import will have a functioning GPS or DVD player - this is not the case despite what many dealers usually advertise. To make GPS/DVD work here, additional integration is required, and I have paid to have all this working in the car, plus many more things too! This car is the perfect mix of luxury and performance with the reliability you expect of a Japanese car. The focus of the car was to convert it to full Australian-spec and this has been well achieved with Australian GPS, DVD, Bluetooth, and converting the buttons on the dash to factory Nissan english buttons. This kind of integration you will NOT find on any other V35 you see for sale in Australia. The car does have some gutter rash on the front wheels and some small stone-chips on the front bumper but is otherwise in brand-new condition. My V35 will be a regretful sale but must make way for a family car with 4 doors. price: $34,000 PM, post here or please call my mobile for more information (0413 555 417) Car will be supplied with a RWC and I am happy for any RACQ/mechanic inspection – feel free to bring them with you when you inspect the car, this car is flawless.

I am in the process of selling my car and as such i have a few items for sale that i have removed prior to selling it... All items are located in New Farm, Queensland STILLEN strut brace and 350Z engine cover - this is a fantastic quality STILLEN strut brace that i bought from STILLEN directly. the brace makes a HUGE difference to the handling of the car as the car does not have one as standard. this does not fit with the factory engine cover, and as such i am including a 350z engine cover with the sale - these 2 items bolt in with about a 10minute install time and make a huge difference - no modification needed to anything, it simply bolts in with no fuss price: $200 (note the strut brace alone costs $400 shipped form stillen new!) V35 coupe clear corners - these were bought new from riverside infiniti in the USA - work on all coupes, nto sure about sedans - come with 'phantom' amber bulbs - plug + play item in about 2 minutes price: $50 - SOLD! STILLEN z-tube and K&N panel filter - these items are being sold together as they work well together - the stillen z-tube is made by them specifically for the V35. it bolts in with NO modification at all and takes about 5 minutes to install. - the z-tube is basically a totally smooth pipe that connects the AFM to the throttle body and removes the MASSIVE baffle that is in the stock intake tube - mild performance increase with a huge sound increase - the K&N filter fits in the OEM airbox and also increases induction sound. the iflter has been used for about 12months but is in otherwise perfect condition price: $120 for the pair - SOLD! NISMO oil cap - this is an ORIGINAL nismo oil cap bought from riverside infiniti in the USA - i have the original box to prove this - in perfect condition, no flaws price: $75 NISMO radiator cap - this is an ORIGINAL nismo radiator cap bought from riverside infiniti in the USA - i have the original box to prove this - rated to 1.3bar for a performance increase over stock 0.9bar price: $25 NISSAN automatic transmission fluid - i have about 3-4L of OEM auto transmission fluid that has been opened, essentially its 75% of the container of new fluid - this is nissan Matic J fluid - works in the 5sp auto NOT the CVT from the 350GT-8 - new costs $80 for a 5L container price: $30 OEM nissan front brake pads - coupe - these are from NON-BREMBO brakes and will fit 03-05 V35's and 350z's - not sure if they will fit the sedan or not - they are almost brand new and have been used for only 1 month - i installed them with a set of RDA rotors, and the rotors did not like them at all and squealed. i ended up changing to rb74 pads - the brake specialist suggests to use these with the stock rotors to get the stock pad performance without squealing - these were bought new for approx $130 shipped from riverside infiniti in the USA price: $50 Please find pictures below of the items Items do not include postage costs. i am happy to post at buyers expense for small items. large items are pick-up only. send me a PM or post here if you're interested! cheers, Warren

your best bet would be to do what we've done with he V35 and that's use a Garming GVN-52 GPS unit which is a trully fantastic unit and is designed with a video out to plug into an OEM screen. all you need is to find an aux input on the GTR screen..
-
if its anything like the V35 then there is no chance of a working GPS system, and a very small chance of converting the MFD to english my opinion: save some dollars and a headache, and wait for the oz-spec cars

best of luck with it mate! i will also very soon be joining you and will be advertising mine for sale in a week or so.. -
when i used OEM pads on my RDA slotted rotors, they squeaked like hell! i tried every fix possible i ended up replacing the front pads wtih race brakes rb74 pads - now the car stops better and does not sequak AT ALL i would put my balls on the fact that its the OEM pads
-
stillen z-tube is basically just a smooth pipe that connects the back ofthe AFM to the front of hte throttle body, thus eliminating the baffle and large resonator type device that slows down airflow on our car the high-flow part is basically a pod and airbox that replaces the standard airbox. i simply replaced the standard filter with a K&N panel filter to achieve the same net result basically any form of intake sounds great when WOT but the difference is not noticable at any other throttle position. get the cheapest kit you can that fits well. i got mine from www.stillen.com but you can also get it from www.everythingg35.com and probably a few other places
-
i have a stillen Z-tube. highly recommended as its a perfect 100% fit and sounds great don't expect any performance gain however with ANY intake otherwise you are kidding yourself. there is quite a sound difference at wide-open throttle however i will be selling my intake shortly if you want to hold off for a few weeks the injen kit looks great but i have heard that the fitment isn't so good

V35 Skyline Premium Vs Non Premium
WazR32GTSt replied to MFC05's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
you've also got cross-drilled and slotted rotors which confirms that you have had brake work of some kind and suggests they have been changed -
its so you can watch the screen while driving..
