V35 Premium For Sale. Heaps Of Extras....
WazR32GTSt replied to CHO50N's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
for a car for sale, i agree for parts for sale, i completely disagree -
yeah take the same package but with more power, what are you looking at? M3? S5?
-
that's one of hte best things about the car that sold me.. 52:48 weight distribution, aluminium suspension, and a chassis that can easily take more power to be honest, a TT V35 would have been an absolute BEAST of a car from the factory and would be one of the best selling cars.

if the R34 is anything like the V35, ie the nav system is made by Xanavi, then there are no australia maps that work unfortunately if your display has an aux input somewhere, you might look at getting something like the Garmin GVN52 unit which is a great hideaway nav unit with a video output for the screen, and is controlled by an RF remote. a great system i have it myself. hope that helps. Warren.

well the V35 is a massive step up from all those cars in terms of comfor and refinement its not as back-breaking as a TT supra or GTR in terms of outright performance, but its a complete package in temrs of handling/looks/comfort with decent enough acceleration to match to make it worthwile in my opinion

Cheapish Big Brake Kit For V35s
WazR32GTSt replied to scathing's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
in terms of stopping distance don't expect any improvement between non-brembo/brembo/this setup in terms of fade resistance then these would probably be far superior.. -

How Cheap Can A Coupe Be Had?
WazR32GTSt replied to DiamondD's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
remember importers have a product to sell and money to make. there will always be a cherry on top when you speak to an importer. they will tell you how easy it is and how the cars are cheap as chips. yes, the prices of V35's are coming down but if they were 20k onthe road then prices here would reflect that. don't get suckered into any "bargain" until you have looked closely at the car and the deal. also speak to those who have imported themselves before and see if there are any hidden costs or delays that you need to factor into your experience. i would expect to pay over 30k for a decent example with the right features. remember also that when these cars come more common, its goign to be next to impossible to sell a car without the premium package - who would want cloth seats or no TV screen when the next car has it for the same price? -
How Cheap Can A Coupe Be Had?
WazR32GTSt replied to DiamondD's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
the short answer is no cars going for that price are generally non-premium with absolutely no features, or have higher kms you've got to ask yourself why is it so cheap? also, i think j-spec bases their prices on the listing priceof hte auction, and the car usually sells for a higher price than listed so take that into consideration -

any questions, post here or send a PM -
ok i have a few things for sale that i have accumulated over the last year or so.. OEM nissan front brake pads - coupe - these are from NON-BREMBO brakes and will fit 03-05 V35's and 350z's - not sure if they will fit the sedan or not - they are almost brand new and have been used for only 1 month - i instaleld them with a set of RDA rotors, and the rotors did not like them at all and squealed. i ended up changing to rb74 pads - the brake specialist suggests to use these with the stock rotors to get the stock pad performance without squealing - these were bought new for approx $100 from riverside infiniti in the USA price: $75 + shipping OEM V35 coupe rearview mirror - original rearview mirror from the V35 - removed to fit a homelink mirror - in perfect condition price: $30 + shipping OEM in cabin air filter - this is the in-cabin filter located behind the glovebox - removed from my car with 25,000kms to put a new one in it - condition very good, probably didn't need to install a new one as they looked almost the same! - bought the new one for $80 shipped from teh USA from riverside infiniti price: $30 + shipping Xenon-look interior globes - for the V35 coupe, not sure ifthe same on the sedans - these are light globes to replace the festoon globes in both the bottom of the doors, and above your head in the centre - they are designed to give a whiter light than normal yellow bulbs - not as white as LEDs but have superior reliability to LEDs which are notorious for failing - bought new from eBay for $50 in a set of other globes price: $10 + shipping i might have some more things to add at a later stage. feel free to ask any questions. pictures are below I am located in New Farm, Brisbane and am happy to ship anything interstate cheers, Warren

yeah it must be frustrating, but at the end of the day its a known risk you get with importing.. did you have insurance for the transport of the vehicle? still, slap some paint on it and you still have something better than you can get locally!! i remember when i first got my car, i was doing a rural term that was 4hrs from brisbane. i was getting >800kms/tank going out there sitting on 110km/hr the whole way it was great! plus the bose is so bloody great for a stock setup i don't think i'll ever change out the bose system!
-
its a shame, but that's the risk you take in importing yourself, and one of hte reasons i bought off a yard here - what you see is what you get congrats on the purchases guys, enjoy!
