  1. have you checked all the fuses? there's one for the amp that is separate from one for the dash.. (i think)
  2. my advice.. dealers have to provide a 3 month warranty but many offer extended warranties and on the finance issue.. my honest advice is that if you need finance then don't waste your credit on a car. buy something you can afford. just my opinion, i'm against borrowing for anything other than a house.
  3. i think its always fair to assume ANY import has had the kms played with its just that with a newer car like the V35 its not going to make much of a difference as is so bloody new anyway! as long as the car seems in good overall condition, and the engine checks out ok with basic inspection, rest assured you will be fine 99% of the time
  4. i have a set of 6 you can have them for $80 pickup from near the valley send me a PM if interested
  5. i think its a good price regardless of auto/manual its pretty rare to get the reversing camera which is over 1k to add on yourself plus it menas you have the nav screen and everything... if its a dealer, look to get ait for around 30k, if its private sale, then there's usually not as much movement possible
  6. what about making it that you can only edit threads when you have >500 posts or something along those lines of course, if you could exclude hte wasteland from the post count that would be even more ideal
  7. what have you got planned in order to reach the speed limiter regularly enough to remove it?
  8. looks good, a step up fom the current maxima but isn't it just easier for nissan to sell the 4 door skyline here in Oz instead of this FWD rubbish??
  9. all the items are SOLD well over a year ago!
  10. should have rear of the V36 as the banner.. it still has the stovetop lights, and its the latest model skyline!
  11. couldn't find any for sale in brisbane and interstate people never got back to me about shipping..
  12. factory spacers?? doesn't sound right.. a lot of those on the G35 forums run spacers because it gives the car a nicer look with the wheels flush with the guard rather than sunken in a bit. they're not legal though in any shape or form also, finding a set of OEM 19s isn't an easy task. i think the best way to get a good set is to get some shipped over from the USA. you could get a good set with new tyres shipped for around 2k - 2.5k which is cheaper than buying from japan or locally in many instances
  13. i'm assume that since you're nice enough to share this information, you are going to be nice enough to at least write down a list of what can be done on the navi system? its not breaching copywrite as you are interpreting the translation and writing it in your own terms after all, isn't the purpose of these forums to share the knowledge about our cars??
  14. nice find! which suppliers are stocking lips and front bumpers, bobby? i'm still unsure if i like the lip. i curently have no lip and really like the look of it, i just wish it was a bit lower. maybe when i drop it about 1" it won't need the lip at all..
  15. looks nice mate the colour looks good, best of luck with the sale my advice is to push the features of the car as much as possible with buyers (eg the premium package) as there are many V35's for sale now and many of them don't have any of the premium features..
  16. its yellow i think if you stand at the front of the engine bay, its just to the right of the oil cap and has a convoluted path to the sump
  17. yellow sedan? wow that's a first.. good or bad?
  18. i assume the 350z engine was assembled in australia? versus V35 engine assembled in japan? small difference i know but maybe there was something in that?
  19. i have yet to hear from anyone with a V35 that experiences this oil consumption problem the original poster of that thread is a person with teriible anxiety so taking what he has said isn't a great resource at all, in fact i don't respond to any of his threads because its frustrating to hear his rubbish! remember that the yanks on g35driver are more likely to make a fuss to get things through warranty. it may be that the V35s also suffer this problem or it may be that they don't. we dont know as yet. it may be a number of factors that contribute to any potential problem the only salvage is that at worse case scenario if you need a new engine or a rebuild, then there are more than enough facilities and parts to do so locally. this is one of the things to risk with buying animport with no warranty. so far there are over 50 2003/2004 coupe owners on here with NO problems at all in regards to engines
  20. if you don't track your car then slotted are for looks only personally i have RDA slotted's in my V35 skyline but its mainly for looks. they do look mean like you mean business
  21. same size, direct replacement for stock
  22. well if you want a pure sports car your probably better off going with a 350z.. same car but no rear seats..
  23. chris, you free ANY time next week?
  24. Hi Mike, there are plenty of import dealerships that have imported + complianced V35's sitting on their car yard for sale if you're interested in looking at a V35 in detail go to an import dealer and have a thorough looker over it and take it for a drive. its the best way to do it as then they have dealer insurance for when you test drive the car the V35 and S15 are 2 very different cars for 2 very different styles of driving and personality.. do you want to drift or to cruise a in luxury sports tourer? cheers, Warren
  25. the right of the panels looks like its been changed too.. someone mush have played around with the area the smaller button on the left is for the side mirrors - when pressed in it activates the side mirrors to drop down when the car is in reverse.. dealer-fitted option.
