  1. no worries chris, let me know please
  2. fair enough, i'm sure he'll reply to this thread then..
  3. yeah i know its probably just that he's busy, although its a little odd that he isn't answering any of calls.. i was really more thinking he might have gone away (eg on holiday or something) and as such i would not even bother trying to contact him in such an instance
  4. Has anyone been able to get onto Chris Rogers recently? He didn't show up when we were to meet last week and won't answer any of my calls or any of my PMs.. Is he away or something? Or did i do something to annoy him or something and he's not interested in my business? anyone else been able to get a hold of him? cheers, Warren
  5. i ended up changing the stock pads to a set of pads from race brakes called rb74s the stock pads didnt like the RDA rotors and squealed like hell for some unknown reason.. but overall very happy with the slotted rotors as an upgrade hope that helps
  6. what prices are V36's going for over in japan thesedays?
  7. well if i had NEVER had a skyline, i probably would have gone down the supra path and would be driving a late model TT supra but i drive a V35 now, saying i had not gotten this, i was also looking at older merc CLK320's and maybe a an older BMW 330ci either way i would not be as happy with my choice of car as i am with the V35!
  8. as much as most of the technical stuff is brshed over, Top Gear tries to show you what its like to OWN a car, not drive a car almost every segment has plus, its a light-hearted comedy, not a searious car show want a serious show? try "the car show" on channel 9 on the weekends. very informative, and boring as batshit to go with it
  9. the advantage of buying a car already in australia, like i did, is that the cars on the yard are already complianced. that means that an immobiliser is already installed and working. the ones they screw up i have no cares about as i won't even know about them! the ones in front of you have been done successfully. every V35 has an aussie-fitted one and if that is all you want then you've already got one and are wasting your money.
  10. it was a dealer-fitted option in the V35 i have one and it doesn't sound when you arm the car but you can sure as hell hear it when you try to unlock the car with the key when the alarm is armed! alternatively i have spoken to chris rogers about this in the past and there are a few threads on this already - but installing an aftermarket system is definately possible also, its a mandatory requirement for an immobiliser to be fitted as part of compliance regardless of what the car has so you definately have at least the compliance alarm cheers, Warren
  11. i'm a little surprised that IP isn'y higher when i looked for mine they were ALL ivory pearl and i really wanted silver (KY0) i don't care that itsthe most common but in my mind it certainly looks the best in that colour. probalby the reason they sold the most as that colour!
  12. keen for a meetup - weekend suits best chris - can you call me or reply to my PMs when you get a chance?
  13. nismo bodykit too..
  14. make sure your phone is configured correctly to pair with a device and to connect with all devices (go through your bluetooth menu)
  15. first, let me say that is one hell of a garage with 3 V35's!! and yes its probably a case that most that can afford a V35 are more mature and as such won't want what you are looking for form their V35 i am 25 and i would probably consider myself young to own a V35, but 21 is even younger! cancertainly do whatever you like to your car and we won't care in the end and will still offer our help on SAU when we can, but if you are asking for advice or opinions in this thread - then my opinion, like graeme, is that these cars are more luxurious than racer and i prefer them left more stock-looking but at the end of the day, people modify all sorts of cars from skylines to mercedes' to bmws, hell even ferrari's!
  16. 100% agree couldn't have said it better myself
  17. my advice = the cost of a respray is never justified if there's nothing wrong with you paint if you have been in an accident or been keyed then fair enough but if you want to change your front bumper, just spray that and leave the rest want a different colour car? sell yours and buy the colour you want.. my 2c
  18. well you have: - missing audio controls on the steering wheel (left side) - missing dual climate control button - missing "bose" symbol on the radio they're the obvious ones, but ive become so accustomed to looking at cars for sale that these are the first things i look at now..
  19. the stupid thing i think is that there are so many V35's for sale now, and >75% are premium versions, you would be bonkers to not spend that extra few thousand $$ to get the works over the base version which looks plain in comparison as there are dash parts missing all over the place..
  20. hmm that's the first i have seen of it and that ad is a bit sus to be honest first he is claiming that it is an AWD setup secondly he is claiming that the 350z wheels on his car are part of hte"performance wheel and tire package" when they are 350z wheels thirdly he talks about the sport tuned suspension being on a 6MT car and fourthly his english is poor to not really unsertand what he means i think he doesn't know shit about what he is talking about its more likely that he has swapped out brembo's from a 350z or manual V35 than it is that his car came with them as standard unless you've seen other cars max?
  21. fair enough then, i've yet to come across any though..
  22. i have yet to see on the nissan japan website about this being available on auto's but if you can provide evidence to the contrary i will happily stand corrected and craig is a used car salesman. enough said. he might not sell the car to you but he has a vested interest in you buying a car and as such is biased in what he wants you to think
  23. its simple.. do you want a sports car? with the ability to be modified and scream "look at me"? then the R34 is for you... or do you want a luxury sports car? that you're happy to leave as mostly standard and want something with a bit more class? then the V35 is for you...
