  5. yeah but when you go out in brisbane you have to dodge all the bogans everywhere...
  6. the 32 was 65L i think, while the 35 is 70L
  7. selling due to the fact that i have bought a V35 and need to pay it off, so i need the cash.
  8. do you mean the blue gauges? blue gauges wasn't only series 1, as i understand it was dependent on the car colour also ...but let's keep it on the topic of people buying my car! any other stuff feel free to PM me
  9. i got 300kms to my R32GTSt and now i get roughly 550-600kms to the V35 (now that i do only city driving in the V35) not a small difference
  10. well its not actually an 8-speed auto, its actually a CVT transmission i don't know much about them or their ability for towing for best information, check to see if aussie-delivered CVT cars (such as the nissan murano) have the ability to tow. i can't see it being an issue personally..
  11. chris, did your contact in melbourne say if he was able to find those plugs? (i assume he got the loom)
  12. still for sale - had a tyre kicker today that had never looked at a skyline before, wasted my bloody time is there anyone who actually knows what a skyline is that is interested?
  13. can anyone confirm that the OEM 03-05 rotors are the same as the 350z touring rotors? they are the same for the G35 03-05 so i assume the V35 too, but not sure. the G35 and 350z touring have the same part number for rotors.. anyone else itnerested in teh aformentioned slotted rotors?
  14. has anyone considered upgrading their standard spec brakes? i'm talking about those with 03-04 auto's or manuals wihtout the brembo's.. i have been looking at different options and its almost impossible to find some OEM brembo's from a V35 or 350z. however... a set of slotted rotors would be significantly cheaper the group buy thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=158914 offers a good value upgrade. i cannot post the price but i have PM'd him and he gave a very cheap price which is about 1/5 of the price i would expect to pay for second hand brembo's has anyone upgraded to slotted rotors? anyone else consider this a good upgrade for not much cash? ..certainly cheaper than spending $2.5k on OEM brembo's.. IF you can find them that is just thought i would get some people's opinions on this, i am currently deciding if new slotted rotors are worth it or not or if i should just stick with the standard stuff cheers, Warren
  15. ha ha are you trying to start a new nickname for the new V series of skylines? cf godzilla in the R series skylines
  16. also.. how straight is that power curve? and 210kW@wheels is nothing to sneeze at for a stock 3.7L V6 or were those graphs after the turbo install? i couldn't work it out...
  17. G37 looks HOT how long before the V37 hits our shores you think?
  18. you know its funny i initially didn't even want the reversing camera.. given i thought it looked like a pimple on a model's face but now that its not useable, i can't imagine living without it! this might even be a good opportunity for others without a reversing camera to hook up somethign aftermarket given we now know how it is hooked up
  19. or move the standard DVD drive behind the dash (as its useless anyway) and put a factory-looking DVD+TV unit into the stock DVD location some aftermerket DVD units come with a remote and IR sensor that plugs into the back of the unit and can be mounted anywhere on the dash, that way you can navigate the DVD drive while the upper glovebox is closed
  20. i have seen a similar issue with my auntie's hyundai sonata. out of nowhere the dash started to go aywire, dropping gauges down to zero then flipping up to max etc. turned out to be the negative terminal of the battery wasn't making good contact.. the water might have been screwing up the battery somehow.. get a cover over the battery! what happened to the stock cover?
  21. mate, if more than one electrical thing breaks down at once then its 99% likely thatits a fuse issue.. have you checked your fuses? it would take you less time to check your fuses than it would to start up your computer, log onto SAU, and post up a thread if all your fuses are normal then post back up and we'll see if we can help Warren.
  22. i would sell SK one of my kidneys if he needed one.. he is not dodgy
  23. the v35 had a few iterations the 03-04 coupe had normal spec and a "track" spec which was not related to the premium package. the "track" spec was offered on manual models as an upgrade and included the brembe package. the rest of the entire range had the same normal-spec package the 05+ coupe no longer offered brembo but had a larger brake setup so it would be the 03-04 coupe "non-brembo" setup which is what would work i believe the equivalent in the DBA brand is: 4000 series front part# DBA 4954 (296mm x 24mm) rear part# DBA 4574 (292mm x 16mm) according to the DBA website, the part number is the same for the skyline and 350z standard/touring model 2003-2005 i'm not sure how to find out if its the same with the RDA range so i was hoping you could help
