  1. cheers chris. ive had a read of g35driver.com and it might be as simple as unplugging and grounding one wire that goes to the foot-brake, but i'm not 100% sure. i will also have a look this afternoon.. but i don't want to screw up some other electrics by removing a wire.. if its only the park brake then its no biggie, but if it also monitors the speed sensor then it might be an issue cutting that..
  2. found this: http://www.kptechnologies.com/ hope it works, any ideas chris? (go to the nav bypass product)
  3. man that's one sexy car! it works great - when the aux input is playing, and you throw it in reverse, the audio doesn't cut but the video does. works well. but i just realised that i don't have the ability to watch it whilst in drive, only when i'm at a stop. does anyone have one of those boxes that cuts out the factory sensor for the brake so you can watch the screen while driving?
  4. and what about drone? present or absent?
  5. recieved my RDA rotors today.. will get them installed in a week or so and post up my results!
  6. Mud: if its got CVT then it has to be a sedan and has to be the 350GT-8 with VQ35DE Spaulty: got any pics?
  7. scathing: did you notice any power increase with the hitech cat-back?
  8. i personally think hitech given the info i read i have heard conflicting information about how loud the nismo item is, some saying very loud, some saying not so loud..
  9. yeah hey might be syndey, sorry i emailed tham about a cat-back option. they said that it was fit for the V35 (not 350z) and was like $1300ish delivered to brisbane (not including installation) i liked them because all reviews said the exhaust was very quiet at idle but awesome at WOT, plus looks stock from the back... i have still yet to go aftermarket yet though, am liking the stock sound (or lack of)
  10. hitech in melbourne can ship up to you for about $1300, and according to the folks over at my350z it sounds mean..
  11. there are many different specs and many different options that could be added on.. "premium pack" models come with - leather/suede in black or full leather in light grey / cream (for 70th aniversary models) - bose stereo upgrade - dual climate control - auto-off headlights - steering-wheel controls for radio "track spec" models come with: - brembo brakes - LSD Note: ONLY available on manual transmission equipped 03-05 models "sport" models come with - different front bumper with larger air intakes - momo steering wheel (i don't like it personally) - 19" rays wheels - 5-spoke options that can be installed from the factory or from the dealer that are NOT part of premium or track or sport models include: - sunroof - spoiler - mud guards / rear pods - 18" wheels - 7-spoke - nav system - reversing pack: rear camera + fold-down mirrors for reverse - dealer-installed DVD player separate to the nav DVD rom (rare) - AC power source - floor mats - toll card reader in upper glovebox - immobiliser with shock sensors (can be seen on top of dash)
  12. yeah apparently if you give the door a little tap about half way down on the outside it can fix the window issue or close the door hard my passenger door can be a bit tempremental also..
  13. series 1 r32 = all silver series 2 r32 = red+white from my understnading...
  14. as said, its H3C but not many options exist in this style you can fit H3 which are exactlythe same globe but have a slightly different back. all it requires is a new ground. you can probably find heaps of info with a good search.. the H3 offers a wide range of globes for your picking

  16. ha ha nice one skizo on the relevant topic of the incabin micro filter.. what is it made of? has anyone that removed it tried to clean it to be re-used?
  17. hey mate, did my payment clear? and did you get my address? it should be all good to go..
  18. carsales got a few tyre kickers in the end that had NO idea but the guy that bought it realyl appreciates the volks/bilstein etc that it has and actually knows that its worth significantly more than just a normal auto skyline (which can be had for 8g or less)
  19. true i have heard many a story about this happeneing, and for htis reason - i am going slotted rather than cross-drilled - i am going with RDA rather than DBA (thus no kangaroo paw) - i don't go to the track i'm after a street upgrade that can add some functionality and some looks, and the RDA slotted rotors looks like a winner to me for the price
  20. are yo referring to the "road angel" GPS unit? i believe that this is the legal GPS unit listing all the known fixed camera locatons.. also many tomtom units have fixed camera locations installed, these filed can be downloaded from the www there's nothing illegal with listing known fixed camera locations however, i don't know of any camera other than red light cameras
  21. they seem ok, but considering that the stockers work very well i don't think i would bother.. now if there was a way of installing rain-sensing activation in our wiper blades, now that's something i would install!
  22. how did you go, mate? (sorry to keep bothering you!)
  23. ok i've just confirmed with spikey that hte fronts are the same as the 350z touring can anyone else confirm the rears are the same? i know for 100% sure that the rears are the same between the G35 and the 350z but i'm not sure if this translates tothe V35 also (though i'm 99% sure it would)
