  1. they're americans... eeeewwww here;s an aussie company.. don't know if they make them though: http://shop.importdriver.com.au/store/prod...em217.inetstore
  2. different classes with different rules i don't know the specifics but you can't be sure that they all have the same rules to abide by, they can't possibly be compared in their highly modified yet merticulously restricted to regulations trim its like comparing apples and oranges
  3. no, yours was actually a translation, that other thread was just "this is what it seems like the buttons do" put them together to give us the best of both worlds! now.. let's find the person who makes the soarer sticker kit and get them workign for us..
  4. our other thread with translation based on their function: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/t179439.html
  5. here's something to get you going.. as i said search over there for more info! http://g35driver.com/forums/showthread.php...ht=350z+springs
  6. as far as i understand - yes if i were you i would confirm this myself though a good place for info is http://www.g35driver.com
  7. they do check the car, but all they check is that the engine number on the engine matches the engine number from the previous registration as mentioned the form isfor an unregistered vehicle i moved up from VIC and sold my car up here still registered in Vic. i did some research and got all the forms for the owner. the forms are all available from the QLD transport website. all you do is fill out the form and fill in that it has been previously registered in another state. provide the engine number and vin i think and then go down to QLD transport. should cost you nothing. give in your old plates and grab a set of new ones and better get a QLD lisence while you're there.. unfortunately still have laminated pieces of shit in QLD but its better to be safe than sorry and risk a fine cheers, Warren
  8. standard 350z springs lower it approx 1" over the stock V35 ones.. nice cheap upgrade many car audio places can install a "band expander" which allows the stock radio to pick up australian radio frequencies.. what state are you in? any pics of your car?
  9. this would be an EXCELLENT idea providing hte font was the same as the other buttons and that they don't look crappy..
  10. Hi, As a V35 owner, i love the new V36 370GT in every way, and i can't wait for them to eventually hit our shores. it will be a defiante upgrade direction for me unless i with the lotto and get a new M3 before that i suppose this question is more directed to j-spec and the like.. i just wanted to know, given that the 370GT has been released in japan now, what is the usual timeframe for places to get compliance? and, when we will approximately see them on the roads in australia? look forward to everyone's help cheers, Warren
  11. yet to use the card holder.. can't find a proper use! the timer page is a reminder system that plashes up a sign saying "FIX" when you reach set number of kms for the appropriate service intervals how did you go with the Navigation fix? what did they quote you for? cheers, Warren
  12. feel free to post them up here.. that is, dyno sheets from the same dyno on the same day immediately after without an ECU re-set
  13. all the evidence on g35 driver indicates that intake mods of ANY kind don't do anything for peak power, just increase intake noise.. if that floats your boat.. if i were you i woudn't waste my money. you can throw a high-flow panel filter in there for $100 and you'll be laughing
  14. R31's are an excellent first car.. much faster than an NA R32 also
  15. hey mate sounds good, but the issue is that the unit is not actually converted.. what the person will be doing is plugging an all-in-one unit into the aux input on the current nav that will do all the above functions so you will be left with the japanese setup of nav etc that still won't work but you will have a box somewhere that will plug into the sound and screen of the original unit and control a separate nav, DVD, and TV. the issue with TV is that you can't get good reception when moving. the others won't be an issue if you can find a unit that will do all those things and do them well.. chris is trying to utilise the stock areials on my back window and will be using a separate signal booster and using all of the aerials this week to see if we can get some decent reception. currently with only 1 aerial plugged in, i get less than 5% signal strength on the tv tuner and that's never going to give a stable picture.. let us know how you go, and particularly what brand of unit he will be using for you cheers, Warren
  16. chris, you sure its the tv unit and not he antenna system that's the issue?
  17. wow a 3 year warranty? that's quite good.. sounds like a good deal and an excellent choice of colour!
  18. blue one is definately a REx but I appreciate the point you're making..
  19. nice, congrats! looks like a 2001 or 2002 model based on the back what extras did you get? leather? premium pack? tv screen? what colour is the interior? and of course how much? (i don't expect you to answer that but if you are willing then feel free!) cheers, Warren
  20. or if you run the car with nissan consult attached you can get live temperature readings.. could be worth running around with a laptop in the car for a few days rather than forking out for a gauge if that floats your boat
  21. secur1ty - got dyno sheets? updated
  22. if youre going to get an aftermarket radiator, probably worth investing in an aftermarket temp gauge too so you cna actually see the temperature of your cooling system, rather then the arbitrary gauge that nissan provided us with that is good for nothing...
  23. what is a "bit of modification"? did you have to cut and re-glass the bumper in the middle?
  24. good luck! remember to drive every car you can to get a good idea about the condition i drove all the cars that were for sale in QLD at the time i bought mine- almost 10 in total by the time i found my car, i was set on colour, kms, and condition. i saw the one i wanted and i knew that it satisfied what i was looking for and it was just a matter of haggeling on price... feel free to post up any links if you want us to comment on the one you've looked at, or send a PM if you are worried that someone else might see the link and but it! cheers, Warren
  25. www.justjap.com www.nismo.com.au www.carmate.com.au www.jetspeed.com.au but nothing compares to the quality of an original bumper. if i were you, i would search your local parts import yards for an ORIGINAL PLASTIC bumper
