  1. Item: Nissan N1 Oil Pump suit RB26 Age: done ~20,000kms Condition: Basically New Price: $200 To Fit: (What car) RB26 Location: Perth Contact: 0402 418 697 or PM me on here. Comments: This was taken off a pristine R34 N1 crate motor. The motor was in excellent condition before it was pulled down in the search for more power. Pump was going to be re-used, but decided to go with a JUN pump instead (~1k). Pic below:
  2. Don't mean to hijack the thread, but who are you guys using in Perth for Head work? Looking for a basic shim and valve guide job for somewhere in the $1100-$1500 range...
  3. haaaaaaaaaahahahahaha titanium heavy and weak!! Thats some funny shit right there.
  4. how about putting more than 1 item in each thread?
  5. Nissan will not release a 500hp 370GT coupe.
  6. If you're in Roppongi, head to a nightclub called LEX, close to the Hard Rock Cafe there. It is THE club (IMO), $40 entry fee but worth every cent. 3 free drinks, VERY much so a tourist oriented place.
  7. Check out the shaved Nissan boot badge as well. Awesome attention to detail!!
  8. Call Brett, he does a fair bit of work on my GTR, and has changed the turbos on my Soarer (pain of a job). 0420 872 685 Tell him I gave you his number, if he doesn't pick up just SMS him...
  9. That'll buff right out.
  10. Without labour costs, this is pretty much the cheapest forged build you can do: HKS Forged 87mm Pistons - $1137 Argo forged conrods $1100 HKS Gasket Kit 1.0mm 87.5mm bore - $323 Nismo N1 Bearings - $250 ARP Rod bolts - $100 Block machinging and decking - $200 Head service - $450 JUN Valve guides - $395 Remove and resit valve guides - $240 JUN Strengthened Head Bolts - $400 Cambelt - $50 JUN Oil Pump - $920 All prices taken from Greenline.jp If you don't do valve-guides or oil pump, you risk doing another motor. Other things I'd suggest doing while the motor is out: TOMEI Poncams + Gears - $862 TRUST sump extension - $355 Then you have labour costs on top of that.
  11. While in Japan checking out the new GTR, I spotted this: Note, "Max Power (NET)".... I'm guessing thats Nissan's way of accounting for drivetrain losses. NET = power at the wheels.
  12. Just reading those prices directly from the autotrader I had. Obviously not new, but a 2007 model.
  13. HSV GTS4 Coupe 2JZ + T04Z Built Auto win.
  14. How would it be cheaper to buy one from nissan?? They are 90k AUD here. They're going to be a MINIMUM 145k in Australia. Storage for a year plus shipping couldn't be close to 55k??
  15. I'll be throwing them on in the next few weeks to see what they look like, so I'll put some pics up then. They're this color: http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a208/Bro...MG1655Small.jpg Titanium grey or something.
  16. They are Nismo clear indicators, I bought mine of Blitz here on the forums, but you can get them from Nengun or Greeline as well I think. Thanks for the kind words mate! Always nice to hear someone else appreciates your taste in cars. I can't take credit for the rims, as they came with the car, but they were a definite factor in me buying it. Also have a set of Work Emotion CR KAI's with r-comps as track rims, haven't fitted them yet but 18x9.5 with +20 offset, im hoping they should look decent as well...
  17. How do you melt 3 JUN forged pistons on a sub-600hp tune with a T04Z? Who the hell was tuning that? PM if you fear teh ban.
  18. Yes if you go for oversized pistons, say 86.5mm, you will need an 87mm bore head gasket. Head gasket choice will be affected by piston choice. If you go for tomei 86.5mm pistons, go for a tomei 87mm head gasket. if you go for HKS 87mm pistons, go for a HKS 87.5mm head gasket. I'd chose both 1.2mm thick.

  20. cheers mate! Yeh Ant tuned it, but it came over with the rotational/decel tuned already.
  21. Exactly! You need; JAP rims ONLY! As fat as you can get, 18". Clear indicators + ganador's. Thats all. Not saying mine's the toughest looking either, but it's what I consider how a GTR should look (ps. sorry for posting this pic AGAIN!):
  22. Cheers mate, it's taken a fair whack of effort so far. Luckily I bought the car for the spec's list
  23. haha thanks mate! Yeh, it's a massive leap from the Soarer to the GTR. I think you should make the jump as well The first time you feel that ATESSA pull you out of a corner on the track ALL the money is worth it hahaha
