Is there any issues with installing an aftermarket harmonic balancer without rebalancing the whole bottom end?
Is it ok to just bolt it on with the engine still in the car
Not suppose to run different size wheels on a GTR, attesa will be sad...
17X10 may be a bit to large, 17X9 is perfect and allows you to use the much more common 235 45 r17's
I would not use them on the street, s the S is a soft compound tyre and will wear very fast.
It would also be a very harsh ride. Have used the SR2 compound ones on the street and it was not pleasant...
Best to have a second set of wheels with them on it and change for the track.
Also you would be very unhappy if you coped a nail in one driving on the street....
Your mechanic shoved and adjustable part on your car without checking what it was set to? sounds pretty silly really...
Does he do the same with adjustable fuel pressure regs? I would be really worried there...
Also i'm fairly certain that in the instructions they tell you to adjust the actuator, I know my mates gt-ss it was there and my actuators came with the same instructions (in Japanese but not hard to work out via the diagrams)
Yes SR20 is lighter then RB20, also has more tourque I think...
Either way a good mod imo as it can be mounted further back being a shorter engine and give you better balance...
Sure hope so went very wide at the hairpin to so hopefully will get some more time there as well.
Sadly only had one session at the start of the test n tune part of the day for long track and I was still changing my wheels over then.... will know next time though but I think Collie is first.
