  1. I realy doubt that... a stock geared GTR is 2600rpm for 100km, doubt it takes another 500rpm to get the extra 10ks... not brave enough to try now though as had a few... lol Me thinks yours isnt exactly stock in that department...
  2. Now this is an old thread... LOL
  3. What revs would 4.4:1 give you at 100Ks in a 32 GTR? Interested in doing the swap for those tighter tracks...
  4. On a side note... How much of an improvement would a 4 pot AP Caliper and 324mm 2 pice rotor give over a rebuilt, good condition stock 32 GTR stuff on the front?
  5. Make sure that all your pistons are moving freely when u have the pads out, they may be siezed a bit... If they are all moving freely then what ure doing should solve your problem
  6. I had The pilot sports (granted not the cup) on the front for a while, was a 225 40 r17 on a 9"rim and the amount of flex was horible and they had almost no grip, squeeled horibly in hard corners to. Was so bad that I actualy took them off and got someting else... By comparison, I had RE 050 bridgestones on the front before that in the same size and they were excelent...
  7. Wow.. now thats new, a complaint about a stiff brake pedal in the sea of complaints about soft brake pedals... feel like swapping brakes? lol Does it slow down fast or not as good as it should do?
  8. Does this completley replace the subframe bushes or just lock them up?
  9. Get the knocking sound sorted before you dyno it. Last thing you want is it throwing a rod out the side of the block on the dyno. If its rising with revs then theres a good chance that you have done a big end bearing, Ive been down this road once myself... never fun...
  10. Knocking sounds are never good... does the intervals it knocks at rise and fall with the revs? Best thing you could do at this stage is take it to a good workshop and see what they can tell you
  11. I wouldnt be taking my chances with the master cylinder... Yes it can be the cause of your problem to... Shouldn't cost that much to fix, just get a brake guy to put a sleeve kit through it...
  12. Interesting that as the r32 GTR service manual says to bleed the ABS AFTER bleeding the brakes in the usual order..
  13. 115psi seems a bit low though... should be more arround 150-160psi... My 26 is 175psi accross all 6... Is yours even accross all the cylinders at 115psi?
  14. Just changed from Motul 300V 15W50 to Redline 15W50 and loving it. Smoother and quiter... Total oil capacity is just under 7 Ltr's for me so not a cheap excersise, cheaper then building engines though
  15. If youre holding your foot on the brake pedal and its sinking slowly then your master cylinder is stuffed
  16. Welcome to my world... Have been chasing this exact problem for ages with no luck so far
  17. Have doubts he hast the car or the wheels... lol +35 offset for a GTR? Are you kidding me?
  18. Good to know, thanks for that, will have to give it a good look when it comes to new seat time. So far the only seat I know that fits me perfectly is the Bride Zeta 3...
  19. Factory R32 N1 turbos are fairly lagy so thats about right, they are old design non ball bearing turbo...
  20. Righto, a bit annoying I can deal with, outright dangerous I cant... seems like it would be very livable though
  21. Do use your car on the street or track only? If you street it then how are you finding the head supports visibility wise?
  22. didn't Webber finish only 10 seconds or so behind after all that?
  23. Not hard at all if uve got a friend. just need to drop the box and thats pretty much it. Hardest part is lifting the damn box back up... lol
