  2. I call them Zip ties. Then they can be used for anything. Zip ties are professional as long as u cut the tail off them

  4. The ss1.5 i fitted is a really good turbo yada yada BUT The customer came back complaining about a smoke from under the bonnet and now his aircon leaks water onto the floor. The dump pipe has melted the aircon drain pipe as Lilcrash has stated. So ease up on him guys

  6. I proved this relieves a somewhat restrictive exhaust. My old S13 when it had a gt28rs i put on a 50mm wastegate with screamer and gained alot thought the revs and 20kw up top. This was with a sr20 and a .63 rear housing. And aslong as the wastegate plumbs in before the cat it should be "legal". If u plumbed it in further past the cat it may give u the gains u want, by then the exhaust pulses have started to cool and there is more room available

  8. What ecu? Can u check injector ms time and see if its excessive. Try disconnecting th 02 sensor and see if anything changes.
  9. I have kmon ears. But i prefer to have my head over the engine. I know its risky but i havent mastered the kmon to my liking yet. I have never missed a ping yet. Just that some people want to push limits (BSA).

  12. Most read a bit of noise when idling and revving. I wouldnt be too concerned with it. Throw it on the dyno and finish the tune by listening and without relying on the power fc knock reading so u know its right.
  13. It will run but not for long. Honestly get it towed
  14. Check the throttle is opening fully when u press the pedal down. Check TPS settings and base timing etc. Is there any black smoke when it struggles to rev? Check airfilter and catalytic converter
  15. Chances are its going to need a new turbo. But do a compression test on the engine first
  16. Also ensure the throttle is fully open, and disconnect the crank angle sensor before starting. So the injectors dont spray fuel
  17. Try cleaning the board with acetone see if it removes the acid. If it does then u could try replacing the cap
  18. Check all the intercooler pipes and connected and tight Try some new cheap copper spark plugs. Bkr6e.
  19. Fit a walbro. Or get the dyno shop to fit a walbro. Better to get it done before tuning it

  21. Pull a coilpack out of the bracket. Plug it in to the loom. Fit a spark plug to the coilpack. Rest the hex of the spark plug against an earth (something metal) and crank. See if the spark plug has a strong arc. Can u explain more. Did it stall and now won't start? If so what exactly happened when it stalled?
  22. Ring a different engineer. Just did a 26 in a vl. Engineered no probs without emmissions test. All stock
  23. Yep. And why do u need an emmisions test with a standard ecu? Have the rules changed? Try another engineer
  24. I doubt its the headgasket. Do a comp and leakdown test. U have been running 25psi. I would be a little concerned whether the tune was safe for that amount of boost. May be alright. Clean all cooler pipes and catch can etc. Try running with catch can not connected to the turbo intake pipe. Run it into another can or bottle etc and monitor whther its still spewing out oil
