Yeah single is heaps better for performance, tuning, lag etc etc etc, and has been discussed many times. But.. I'd like to pipe in with my 2 cents. Especially as you have an V-spec. If you do opt to go single, keep all of the factory parts and matching engine if you do replace it as I can confidently say as these things become more and more rare in factory form and the price will only continue to go up.You'd be mad to cut up and change another Vspec to the point where it can't go back to stock if you are an enthusiast, that said end of the day it is your car, your choice. Imagine all the XU1, Coupe Monaro or Phase 3 owners that chopped up good standard examples only to have them worth a fraction of what the OEM ones ended up as these days. Rx7 Gen 1's are another example. If you really wanted a big single monster, surely you could sell on the vspec to a collector and get one already built and put some money in your pocket for more mods!

Rb26 cams are a drop in upgrade arent they? If so I've got a set of very low KM RB26 cams that just came out of my car in Sydney if you want them. PM me.

Good result. If you are replacing pipes under the intake manifold, do them all in one go. Kudos Motorsport sell a kit. I even ordered OEM hard lines and replaced them while at it and the parts that plug into the block. And to add, knowing corrosion has started on that side in the coolant pipes, the turbo side will only be a few months away from doing the same so if you are going motor out I'd go to braided lines on that side too. Also where do I find one of these bullet proof head gaskets?.. haha.

I was pleased to search the vin of mine and find it was a 'Cold Weather' optioned GTR (Heated Mirrors). I mean only the non snow areas of Japan would use that option right....right?.... I looked at a couple of R33 GTR's that had front struts ready to pop out of the towers at any time. And I knew of one R32 GTRR that got lighter and lighter as the subframe slowly died and dropped off in delicate little pieces, that and if you pushed the clutch too hard for some double step dose launch hero boost action you'd probably push through the floor.

Why couldn't I just bolt it back together with some used and new oem parts? Clearly a question that is unable to be answered. Also why are men now wearing over the shoulder hand bags? Ah that's where I got it wrong. Buy a rusty pos and spend 100k on it. GTR owners never learn. Although mine did come with a weird yet pretty over the shoulder purse bag type thing with matching set of sneakers and tracksuit pants. How times change
