mike hate to be the one to burst the bubble - the screen in the JAP V36 is not analog. it runs a dedicated sony chipset designed for that system.

duuno what you are thinking but the 2008 up spec cars didn't support ipod. the one in the for sale advert DID support it. buttons - I have them. cost - not cheap. radio us usually a band expander. should have mentioned it to RAWS/TGI when it was here and I would have tossed one in.

its a knock off of the original. oem is a better fit and yes nissan have several colors of that panel. its taken me years to work them out and log part numbers.

I did that car. thought I recognised it.. I will not disclose what it cost to do it but that was one car that was a LOT easier to do that what most of you have.

I'll have a dig. yep the option was there. button set on teh right side of the wheel. cost would probably be on the wrong side of not cheap. remind me next time you see me and I'll explain.

ok had a bit of a dig amonst the GTR harness that I have now and the GTS4 Harness that is half burnt in the engine bay. looks like cruise control is a function of the engine harness. the GTR harness doesn't have it, the GTS4 one does. so for me I'm going to split both harnesses and take the cruise wiring out of mine and toss it into the GTR one since it is in MUCH better condition than the one I have. for those nutty enough to consider this: on the outside fuse panel is a spare 4 pin plug. that is for the servo. the rest of it is inside on the same harness. the harness that feeds the steering sensor has extra wiring for the buttons and the clock spring behind the wheel has the positions for extra wires (two extra.) there are three more plugs on the inside harness. one for a relay one for the module and one for the switch. so its a wheel swap with buttons,add teh missing bits and that's pretty much it. now that I know what is involved I'll start SLOWLY sourcing these AFTER I rebuild that engine harness. if you want detailed images of what I'm babbling about ask me.

nope. that is an ENTIRELY different car. I can sell you a piece that will allow video into it but I somehow think you will baulk at the high 3 figure price tag.

FYI: maxima controller : 18930-99E00 R32 Controller: 18930-71L02 - no dice. I have a local JUN 11 fast disc here to verify that.

still yet to check if the maxima one is the same. plug is the same but I'm not sure about the rest. I have a build plate off one so I will look it up at some point.

I'm going to put the question to nissan japan today. I did a quick look on the wholesale lookup list and there is EASILY $2k worth of bits there.

hate to say it but the last few 33s I have repaired from theft the boot was popped the pump relay bypassed and then the column smashed. insurance is the best idea. some of the cars I do have remote relays on them and if they do not see a remote control signal they DO NOT work. google that. plenty of companies make them.
