  1. I have seen cruise on them. to fit the OE cruise - not viable. it needs the software enabled and wiring is not there as well. I have done cruise on them and its not too bad. for the inverter - leave it.
  2. it will tell me what you actually have so I can get hte corect manuals for you. I have access to the whole lot .
  3. ok do this: split the remote open take a snap of the internals front & back - from there I'll get you a proper users guide and service manual for it.
  4. if you want, what radio is in there?
  5. show me the remote and the siren. I can deduce from there.
  6. define cheap?
  7. then it's not done properly is it? windows should only go up when the alarm is on. with a bit of fiddling you can amintain a boot release AND the wind down function. window automation module works best here.
  8. its a 100v socket - usually a dealer fit item. seen it a few times now. Muz's M35 has it as well. unsure where the inverter is for it.
  9. click this: http://www.hsvforum.com.au/forums/archive/...php?t-1654.html ring that fellow. he does them here in SEQLD and does a DAMN good job.
  10. do you know what the pulse rate for the GM item - it will be VERY different.. to do it correctly you will need to mimic the ladder network of the stalk. the buttons on the dash are (skyline) a ladder network also. get the speed right , inputs right and it will work get it wrong - nada. feel free to ask questions
  11. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=137680
  12. remove outer ring also. it un screws.
  13. fuel pump ballast resistor I believe. ok does it have voltage on that wire in the back? pull the antenna out and check for power on the plug. it should show up in 3 places. one that has +12 on it. one should have +12v key and the last +12v radio. if all 3 are there then its motor time.
  14. S1 or S2 33? if S1 - tie the blk/red wire to 12v and listen. motor should start. if not peel the rear area out , take a pic and I'll help you.
  15. wont make any difference. timer and alarm at once would be my pick if i was doing the car. that means I would only slice the harness once. who's doing it? (pm me.)
  16. that feeds the tacho. the signal comes originally from the CAS and igniters on teh coils. easier to do it inside.
  17. I sent him a copy of hte book
  18. looked at that. he's the one that does japlink..
  19. do it off RPM. that way the car is up to idle before it shuts down. most of them have this feature and crank times on the starter anyway so they can be varied. if you look up a 33 power FC pinout it will give you the RPM sig. from memory its yel/red on the cluster.
  20. please do. that way I don't waste any more R&D time on what I'm doing. mind you if he's done the mapping disc I wouldnt expect it to be cheap as the rights are owned by pacific acess (IE telstra.) if he's done the main system then that is another matter as its unique to the jap cars and different to the G35. either way I'd like to know. give me a ring if you want
  21. so you are doing a remote start??
  22. haha!! I should have added for my twin turbo L series subaru wagon. I had him graft two bonnets together. my original and a vortex turbo (has a vent in the middle) one to make the one below: this is my old one. new one is put away. gives you an idea though.
  23. not really. I had the corolla backed into two nights ago - rsng boondal 9pm at nihgt then went in and reported it. cops rang the offender , had a kind word and gave me a incident number- that allows me to replace the rear gate that was mashed by a white 2004 nissan navara of northgate. (yes I have the offenders details ) I also had a note on my screen with a contact phone number of the fellow that saw it happen !
  24. also see brady's body works. he's built a few bonnets for me and I'm impressed. always busy though. speak to mark.
  25. entirely too much effort. 5 min with a soldering iron fixes that bit. clarify what you are asking please.
