    the fitters are correct. that car runs a version of CAN and its fun to say the least. I have done a fair few 350z's (same platform.) and they are interesting. I would be looking for a CAN version first off then the mongoose version - make DAMN SURE the fitter knows the car! Waz, I'm going to put yours through its paces when I get it

    Howie, google spread spectrum radio - that will give you some idea how quicktrak works. your idea will slow a few of them down but not that one. I have $35m of ferries insured with that system with 3 more to go (contract completes 2009.) so its a VERY reliable system. APS, i see you are talking to gary. top bloke.

    S2 had the option. most were dealer fitted. an alarm solves the problem anyway.

    nope. start again or deal with it. I'm working on the nav and TV/DVD side of it. depending on where you are there may be someone there that can also do this.

    nope. the whole lot has to come out. think you will find that the speaker has rotted.

    its the same as the other cars- the rear seat comes out, side panels come off and the rear shelf comes out.

    your pricing is correct. if you buy it off ebay I WILL NOT FIT IT!! they are factory seconds and I do not want the headache.

    waz, I have one (periperhal version) here. I'll hang onto it until we get yours back in. a minor point though for every one - what fits a G35 may not fit a V35. they may look the same but internally they are different. V35 is closer to a 350z (to me anyway.) TV tuner input is easier to use anyway.

    I had one (elcipse) do that. no idea why. was a 4ch one that did it. seems to be a common thing.

    as I said before - strip it!

    use a relay to drop the light switch circuit out. most of it is available off the column.

    waz, if its speed then its no biggie. I'll do it at the TV module anyway.

    waz, I have a work around need to fiddle a bit more. work out how it works (IE what kills the video.) and I'll fix it.
