I was looking at another question actually. seems the cd mech in these things dies so IF a 350Z was teh same it would be a direct swap. btw leads are available here I checked today. think twice if you are going to swap this thing out as it will not be a cheap exercise. I had a call today about this from a fellow with a 250GT asking a similar question so I thought I would clear this up. to do it properly with a screen - no real change from $2k.

if I read that correctly it will interprete the INCOMING tv format. yo need to find out what it actually spits out. the on glass antenna will yeild crap results - a outside one will work better. rabbit ears are not what these things are btw. they are specialised ones that look similar to a small mobile phone antenna.

once I'm done 30 min or less with instructions will be the norm. mine will plug straight in and have a choice of 3.5 mm plug or rca plugs depending on application. give me a bit I'm waiting on an answer (and waz is waiting on his lead )

depends, on a diesel the car will start and drive off. (mate of mine did this as a joke in an open field with him in the car.) in the case I saw it was a case of wrong place right time. car moved and pinned the kid!

also DO NOT UNPLUG THE YELLOW PLUG! It is the airbag for the passenger side. you will set a light (fault code) if you do and turn the IGN on!

only thing it will affect is the external audio. IE nav and TV. that can be fixed if you use the correct radio (IE blaupunkt.)

leads are universal (for nissan bose ) . there is not a plug and play solution for these cars.

not bad hopefully I'll know more about this plug over the next few days and we can tidy it up a bit.

jap parts will do the facia bits. the leads come from elsewhere. I'll have to check if the local supplier i deal with has them. waz, yep same guy. I'll probably make these since the last one was 180deg out! the DVD one will depend on demand. I'm not going to fork out $500 for 1000 plugs (persay) and not get a return on it. your lead will determine if he can get the plugs. again I'll probably make this one too. its all packed up ready to ship out in the morn.
