there are aftermarket leads available to make the bose amp work with other units. just a thought:)

I'll have to do a bit more digging (for arguments sake.) but it would drop the speed sig and handbrake signal off the TV unit. found a few similar items in toyota imports (surf especially.)

got a clear hires shot of that. also of where does it go in? if its waht I 'think' it is you should be able to pull it out and the TV will only work with the car stationary.

I was just looking at the harness and it loops 4 pins back out. part of my reasoning.

the thought I had was this: most of the DVD units I use have a REM OUT so that can fire the CTL input on the tv unit. teh reverse lights would take priority so that part still worked. if you have that clarion box handy fire me the part number (or the ENTIRE tag) so I can do a bit of digging I'm thinking it MAY do the switching internally in your case. in hindsight I probably should have kept it.

I pulled waz32's one out this morn and it has an extra plug on it for AVin. his has a camera though and I'm not entirely sure if the soluiton you are chasing will work if you have a camera on board. if you do have one can you pull the clarion module out and post the part number of it. I didn't get it this morn. first thing monday I'm making a phone call to a mate of mine in MLB to source that plug. if I can find it then I'll make up a plug and play solution for you. any interest in this idea??

pins are correct. use the later M35 one. that is correct for placement.

it does. it has a cusotm plug though. easily worked around. (until I can find the plug.)

swc= steering wheel control. arvo is fine. wnat to pull your car apart.

its a fuse. did you swap the radio out?

$30 twin air horns from supercheap - done! I have them on my van and that was a VERY weak horn.

waz, on the SWC idea I 'think' I can get around that need to do a bit more digging.

the plug an dpay version is for the nav. I can do the whole lot turn key but not without having the vehicle to do it. considering these cars (or the ones I have seen.) didn't have DVD as std its not a major issue. if you do not have the reversing camera - go in there and use a 'mod' lead to make it work.

I use 1 lead only. the B EXP goes inline with the main antenna - works fine. V35 has two antennas - main in the rear - amplified - one in front glass unamplified. if you wanted two expanders in there then could use both.

run it past here and I'll pull it out for you. it has a dedicated plug on it for AV in. (I can hack it.)

to be honest I would LOVE to try a local OE clarion 6disc on one - I figure it would work.

paolo, on auto cars I'm not biased - I WATCHED a MANUAL VEHICLE start and PIN a 5 y/o girl TO A WALL - I have a REASON for stating what I do. I was not responsible for the work on that car but I knew FULL well how it happened. it had a makeshift neutral safety switch that failed - car was IN GEAR and it started. they are good for warming up or cooling cars off on seasonal times but not much else. I see it as a 'look at me ' thing.

as am I once the people get the patch lead right! I tried to get the correct plugs and leads done O/S - nup! they fudged it! nav I have sorted. as for the murano- unsure. I have one due on saturday so I'll have a look. what are you thinking?

yep. they f'd up! doing it again locally this time! nav is sorted . harness is incorrect! (yes I'm annoyed! prototype cost me $300!)
