  1. take a close up pic of them. that wasy I can tell you
  2. done several. needs a small trim panel made to sit neatly but its a drop in either way. what do you want to spend on it. ( may be able to help
  3. autowatch 446P would be a start. see westside at cannington and mention me when talking to michael and the guys
  4. without knowing what is in the car (OE or otherwise) - no Idea. got a pic? Xenavi made most of them and from there they could be sanyo, clarion or sony.
  5. read the V35 area. short answer is no.
  6. so how did you get the dent in the side. I know the C pillar one was there already. looking at that - $4k min. they will have to replace the fuel tank, rear boot panel, bumper support, bumper cover, rear tail light. the spare tyre well may pull out. if the side dent happened at the same time you have frame damage. that opens up another can of worms.
  7. its not a bad unit. works well for BT music- make sure you plug your phone into the charger as it will die after a full day of use. MP3 off disc would be better IMO check out my sig for stereo gear. look in CD/MP3 plyers. maybe something of interest there
  8. video will show up under VTR. select TV then VTR input. from there it will work if you have done every thing correctly. it will not work witht eh IGN on UNLESS the handbrake is on and the car is stopped. driving the car shuts the video off at 5kmh.
  9. www.audioexpress.com.au - hit the contact tab
  10. keeep it on topic guys. my intent was to get this stuck to the top so everyone would stop asking how to get them out and stop filling my PM box u jon, can't remember done too many of the things.
  11. R34 1 - First pull out the ashtray and undo the screw behind it. 2 - Pull up the gear stick surround and undo the 2 silver screws at the bottom left/right of the storage bin. 3 - Using a thin flat blade screwdriver on the left side, prise out the 2 vents at the top of the console and disconnect the unit. 4 - Undo the 2 silver screw at the top of the heater controls. 5 - Pull out the heater controls, radio & stage bin (all in a cage together). 6 - Remove the radio from the cage (2 screws each side) and fit your radio. 7 - Refit going from step 5 back
  12. pop out th ashtray and lower panels - remove screws, pop out AC ducts up top remove screws whole assy comes out. you will need two antenna adapters and hte band expander. I keep those here if you want them.
  13. and they will tell you they can do nothing with it. may want to see japlink - tehy have a guy that seems to know his stuff. ( I haev yet to call him.)
  14. westside - cannington- ask for michael macy. mention me. autowatch blue would be my pick.
  15. buy it locally and save the hassle when it breaks.. it has a amp trigger wire only. no ant ctl.
  16. nope what you said covers 99% of them.
  17. if you are cluey with electronics find the correct wires that run the screen and rework them. from there you have a VERY useable screen.
  18. to put the small cost comment into context : nav - $1500 - unit ONLY no modding. TV - $500. theres $2k BEFORE I actually start doing anything.
  19. nah I'll do that one.
  20. ant amp is on. its hardwired to the key (camera ACC actually.) its a reception thing (or tint.) I'm tempted to get the one I use into that car. may still do that.
  21. done a couple that way. the fold outs tend to foul on the A/C controls. 2din item would be a better fit.
  22. pics of WAZ's lights on progress front of car before I started now it comes to bits ( fairly easy to remove if you take your time.) headlight assy. HID ballast - look closely thats how the halogen lights are done (the plug was chopped!) HID plug was intact and tucked out of the way.. bit hard to see but there is a blue light there (light is on and warming.) then it all goes back together
  23. nav is giving me the SHITS! (its a supply problem on the nav side. I have the plugs.) I'll leave it at that for now.
  24. look - TV ! and a TV guide. still yet to sort the in motion side of it properly. by fluke it worked when I did this one - reception isn't the best either. I would actually use a different box in the cars I do commercially. it really needs 2-4 antennas to really work. I have a few more pics of rest of this car but its not related to this discussion.
