    take the car VIN to nissan . prepare to pay through the nose for it. its similar to the nissan patrol but with out the transponder. an alarm may be a cheaper option - where are you btw?

    what radio was in it originally? some of those had the wiring in the REAR of the car with the amplifer.

    I have one of those here. its the language disc for sat nav. I'll give the other PN a whirl as well . I have a feeling its the same one.

    not that I could find. I had my phone searchig for it and it did not show. mind you it has carwings on it so there is an RF link somewhere in it.

    ok for me to land that properly is $ 350 - 400 . I know of the piece you mean and I can get it locally. its the market for it that will kill the idea. if I can find something that is in the $2-300 range that works I'll do it. I'll keep digging. jaik, thats what I have been doing when people ask for an Ipod. much easier.

    brad, thanks for today. for the record that unit is BUILT INTO the car similar to what lexus did in the 90s with motorola. my thoughts would be to find the phone that runs it and use that. nothing else can be used. this info is based on the above car.

    once it lands - yes. you will need hand tools but for the most part its a P&P affair.

    define integration. the unit has a stacker port on the rear of it so emulation is a possibility. I'll look into it. I need a ipod or two to fiddle with ( I don't own or want one.) to verify compatiblity

    awww it misses you if it has the dealer fit alarm on it and you leave the window down and make noise near it the thing does go off. been there already.

    they will do AUX in on the video input. yes you can run the audio of a ipod through them - do you have the clarion based camera? ( it will say clarion on the control box.) if so you should have a loose plug there that this lead WILL plug into. I'll look into the Ipod solution IE integration into the OE unit IF there is enough interest.
