  1. how loud do you intend to play it? stupidly = return sedately = fit and use.
  2. S1 or S2? why are you asking?
  3. 2nd the tamper torx idea. much harder to get off unless you wish to carry a set of sockets around.
  4. pref the 446P and the relay method myself. bypassing the points I see as a waste of time. let the alarm do teh timing its a lot easier.
  5. adelaide pro sound - autowatch. see george.
  6. its the diversity antenna. the R32 has the MAIN antenna in the rear screen. if you are using an aftermarket radio then it is not used. if you can show me the spot you are talking about I can probably tell you how to attach to it.
  7. most of it is mirrored. find the wire at the light and track back down the drivers side MOST of the G35 stuff matches BUT NOT ALL OF IT! . REV was orange in the '05 I did a week ago.
  8. yep, put a switch in line with the antenna control wire.
  9. 456 or 446P has it inbuilt hence my question?
  10. and there lies your probelm. pioneer DOES NOT have a dedicated antenna control KENWOOD DOES! so the radio comes on antenna goes up and stays up. wnat it back the way you had it grab a KDC239 and you are done.
  11. how about you tell me what radio is/was in the car. unsure what redback (JBHIFI contracted company for fitting) has done.
  12. brian is in perth.
  13. actuator stuffed or the rod has moved.
  14. crap... put classical music through one and you will hear the power supply.
  15. 1: correct: 2: see previous reply. camera is switched via the AVin port - yet to suss out exactly how. originally I thought it was level switched but its not. seems to be data based. I'll prove this once my test car comes back in. 3: think laterally about it (you are in the wrong spot and have a pm )
  16. 1: mongoose do a range of them: http://www.mongoose.com.au/new-releases/in...?category_id=59 http://www.mongoose.com.au/new-releases/in...rView%20CCD170B I use this one on V35s. 2: unsure but its NOT a TV antenna.if any thing its probably data. 3: Dont know
  17. location - can you geofence?
  18. NFI - how loud do you run it though?
  19. too hard. easier way is to find a control module off a VP commodore and use that. jackeroo had the same module. both are height adjustable via a rocker switch. $10 from a wrecker
  20. nope -emulate one and interface the buttons to it. . thing being it will not be a $300 exercise. for those that are SERIOUS about it expect $2-2.2K turnkey. I'm doing it simply because I want a challenge.
  21. current one : garmin nav with extra board integrating video & dedicated to running one button on the dash to switch it over - rest is IR controlled. OE system remains and OE computer remains. revised version. (still on paper) mapping of the OE buttons to IR signal inc. joystick and integration the OE screen. no physical remote. different nav. (blau.) if you are tech savvy have a bit of a think how I'm doing it. this one is a good 6-8 months off.
  22. which autowatch?
  23. correct. the HD3 here is hard drive based - there is no cd for it. the AVIC you are thinking of is CD based. it is also locked to region 1.
  24. drop the lower dash out , pull shroud where clock is out , remove shifter cover, pull radio out. do you have the two antenna leads to make it work?
