    the actual clock - NFI. never tried. jaxxon, any ipod will run on it bar the new gen3 nano video. the audio only side works on that one.

    short answer is yes. it will pop a boot with the correct hardware.

    local TV reqiures a new tv tuner. the OE one cannot be used. depending one what you use will determine cost. I use digital TV boxes and they are not cheap crap.

    ACTUALLY you CANNOT drive a uncomplied fresh off the boat car around LEGALLY. I have already asked the question to QT when I went for my trade plate. once it is complied then yes - providing you have the insurance and day pass done for it. just to clarify the above point.

    DA43 is the one I have used. they are 12v internally anyway . sold usually WITHOUT a plug pack. there is a trimpot on it for gain.

    been there already. to be honest I would look at a 12v residential distribtion amp (GME kingray make them). they do +30dbm and are adjustable so you dont kill the front end of the tuner. thing being you would need two of them if the box simon is using runs twin tuners and twin antenna setup. about $170 a throw and they will drag a signal from 110km away VERY easily.

    craig, are you interested in organising freight and customs clearance fr one in hastings and landed here in brissy? I can do the paperwork on this end of it. the NZ side is where I come unstuck. car is a 87 subaru .

    the nav - yes. TV is a different unit altogether - DVD - no. the DVD was a customer request.
