  1. looks like a hole filler to me. (thats a later V35 nav unit by the look of it.)
  2. then you look at the carpet wear marks.. I have seen MANY a R34 with press marks on the cluster cables...
  3. take a pic of your dash mainly of the screen area. that will tell me.
  4. original buttons.
  5. waz, yours is a Aerpro item. same maker as the one I used. also jack is in the hills so reception can be touchy there.
  6. pretty much correct. you will need a patch lead to get into the V35 TV box. also the TV you have needs to spit out NTSC for it all to work properly. I have a source for the CORRECT buttons though they are NOT cheap.
  7. do you know where the fuel pump relay is in those cars? above idea will not work..
  8. which version? I can get the leads for them so its a plug and go affair.
  9. I'm using someone else. that said I seem to get better service everytime I mention a business name.
  10. I need a mule for sydney. I'm going to make a run down shortly. car needs to be done in carlton. for more details on location and price PM me. it takes a FULL day to do properly.
  11. option 2 - done by me at all times. option 3 - most viable.
  12. give th fuga a bit I know of a couple of local shops wanting them (and I have bits for them already..) that car is a QLD car too. look at the windscreen.
  13. thats better. about what I paid for one side($195USD). same parts differnet badge. both are nissan. I'm seeing these cars with the G35 badge on them occasionally and more of them with the full swap lately,
  14. that looks VERY familiar- brian is going to have fun if its the one I think
  15. yep and I removed all of it. the whole lot was in with several loose scotchlocks so the whole lot came out.
  16. its one of them. they have been out for 2 years now. hardly new. two versions of it. 460 does 4 inputs with custom text labels and 4 outputs done the same way. the 560 has all that and can tell you via text the GPS coord's where the vehicle is. they retail for $699 and $899 normally before fitting. they work with anything. I have been using them on various cars here in brissy with 3 or 4 different alarms. STi electronics in melbourne build them for DEI. have questions- ask .
  17. grab the IGN feed on the ECU. that will stop it. fuel pump is another. the car WILL NOT start and run with no fuel in the rail. if it primes yes but no prime =no fuel so no go.
  18. its on the later ones. look in the glovebox for a boot button. from there rip the passenger rear panels out in the boot (where the antenna is.) and grab the actuator and cable attached to it. grab all the snaps as well.
  19. piece of cake. this is what I have been using lately on these cars. works a treat and does not jam.
  20. go see stylyn car audio in boronia and tell him what you wnat.(mention me.) should see change from $1k. mongoose alarm and mongoose pocket pager. from there it goes up.
  21. what do you want to know about it? also version GSX 460 or 560?
  22. for the actuator?? fark! thats not what I was quoted..
  23. so you cannot physically unlock it with the key?
  24. I can think of several ways to do this properly. how deep are your pockets? if you wnat it for $300 - FORGET IT! I know of a shop or two down that way that will attempt it. if you want to pay for the flight to melbourne I'll do it and do it properly. answer my first question though
