found a way to do it with video output displaying what the Ipod is doing .- works via IR for the time being.
this works on a early 60gb video Ipod so far - for my reference what is the most common unit you guys have Ipod wise.
I'm trying to work out a package cost for the cars that get the compliance done through brisbane (via Nizmo or Isaso.)
your resaerch is correct. they are meant for cars with no room. alpine did them in the late 90s. nail them to a seat/floor and you had bass (or rattles )
dunno, never used it. 7w & 15w are my usual ones. I will say that the 616 does fight with the 6120 I have occasionally. one of them drops the BT link and I have to manually reset it. oddly enough it works fine with my old 6230.. go figure.
its a 8w car phone thats why the hefty pricetag. I get into some wierd spots and the phone needs to work.
feedback on the parrot items is almost nonexistant.
do you still have the factory plugs on yours?
if so:

and yours is the top one. the colours may not match but the pinning WILL.
can you take the door panel off?
if so look along the inside handle linkage - you will see a rod tied to it with a screw clamp- loosen this clamp and work the lock in one direction. make sure the actuator is either fully in or fully out when you tighten the screws again.
for voltage checks - ground one lead of the meter. take a screw driver and close the door catch so the door will close and lock . find the actuator leads and work the door lock via remote. both wires will alternate between 0v & 12v. if both do this then its a mechanical issue. if not run a fresh twin core cable from the alarm to the actuator.
let me know how you go
show me the unit and I can tell you. if it says clarion expressly on it show me the unit and the plug on the side of it. there are two versions of it and one of them is useless now.
as a rule only the brand of the stacker will suit the source unit.
the actuator in the drvers door needs adjusting. that said if you hav a meter handy check the voltage on the actutaor as well. had one of those with a bad harness a while back.
