tom . you are correct. that said putting s converted signal into the antenna input will not work. put it in further up the line and it will BUT you are reinventing the wheel. easier to put a DVB box in and set it to NTSC out. re cables : still waiting.. (blame it on xmas rush and me paying slow boat post.)

any of the poineer units. the alpine ones aren't too bad either. been fitting a lot of the P5950's and P7950's lately. seems to be an ok unit.

only thing I can figure is it pulls the speed signal from there. the speed signal is in CAN most other areas of the car. got a pic of the whole kit. if I see it I can tell you.

cable from radio to Ipod box. you have it in the wrong plug on the ipod box.

ok I can do them two ways . with an alarm siren and with a GSM pager. the latter will tell you what part of the car was hit/opened whilst the immobilsier keeps it in one place. there's a few variants of the GSM pager one of which can geofence. by silent arming - do you mean silent on/off or totally silent? they all had adjustable sensitivity. its a case of putting the sensor in a accessible spot. again what do you want to spend on it? the above scenario is well into $1300.
